GomTV observer @startale_legend announces he will be stepping down after the GomTV Hot6ix Cupi in December.
I am leaving my position as game director after the HOT6 Cup in Dec. Thank you for all your support and I will see you all again in a
different position
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Blizzard should've given him opportunity to observe at Blizzcon Would've been EPIC.
Noooo, he is such a great observer! He will be a big loss for GOM.
You never realize how big a role an observer can play in your enjoyment of a game until you experience a bad one.
Legend you are irreplaceable! Why are you leaving us?
His observing was of the best. It is a shame. I remember tastosis commented on his observing ability almost daily in their casts.

RIP in Peace sweet prince... In all seriousness, that's a tough loss, he was probably the best observer I've had the pleasure of watching a tournament with.
God damn it, but I'm guessing he's getting promoted.
sad.
also, did you try to use html in the op?
NO GOD DAMN IT ><
His observing is art.

Guys. Startale coach leaving. Startale Legend leaving obs for, "A different position". EH?! Hyped. I'm sure they'll get a good obs.
OMG HE"S GOING PRO!! LEGEND OF THE SWARM :D
My guess: Recruited by Kespa to observe their leagues
There has never been an observer as good as Legend. The number of times he's circled the mouse pointer on interesting things that Tastless and Artosis have missed is beyond count.
Truly the loss of a legend + Show Spoiler +pun motherfucking intended
SC2 fans seriously need to give more shit about observing skills (camera skills) in our tourneys. :|

Legend your obs will be missed!
time 2 pursue pro career in starcraftu
gl legend, you told me more than pretty much any english caster ever did
A true legend steps down! This guy was probably the best observer i've witnessed.

Relax guys. He's climbing the ladder of success. Oh and remember this: everyone is replaceable so always give it your best.
So, will they get a new observer for the international stream or will Heavendom just do the observing for the korean and international stream now?
Nuuuuu This guy observes well and is actually ****ing hilarious
Different position? Interesting, I remember he tried to go pro a while ago?
oh gosh i wonder what thatll be!
his observing is a level above everyone else. IMO the observer is just as important as the caster
What a shame.

Bummer, he was probably the best one out there...
Good luck to him, I wonder if he's staying with GOM though. I just hope whoever is replacing him will be half as good

If he's getting a promotion then congrats to him!
Hopefully he is training the next great obs
This is the worst retirement yet
Noooo, the undisputed observing bonjwa! D=
Well hopefully his "different position" == "promotion".

In recent GSL, I think Heaven has been doing a better job. That having been said, legend was great and will be missed.
Legend <3 T.T;
Most people never even think about the observer unless the observer is doing a crappy job. Legend was, in my book, the very best at what he did.
Definitely sad to see this guy go.
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Best of luck Legend!
In case, somehow, you have not watched Legend of the Swarm, the first episode is here. Click "Video 2" on the right and skip to 20:51. The series is pure gold.
Legend far and away the best observer in Sc2 History so far. Heavondom(I think that's his name?)is pretty high up there too. Adebisi is very good and some other foreigners are good as well but Legend was on a completely different level, I could watch casts with no audio and miss nothing, he not only caught almost all the action he also did a good job of highlighting key things in production or upgrades, supplies and supply blocks etc.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
first retirement i'm actually mad about..
He's the only retiree that was at the top of the game. No one even came close to him.. He's the innovator.
Michael jordan/Boxer of observing...
Your nuke-zooms shall never be forgotten.
Call me crazy, but with the head coach of Startale stepping down at the end of GSTL perhaps he's becoming the head coach and thus can't be an observer anymore.
