huk 3-0 with 3 cannon rushes
Scarlett complains a lot about cannon rushes, but has been doing well against Toss lately. She shouldn't have too much of a problem against Nestea (HyuN told Jaedong "You can't beat her in Muta v Muta"), and she forced JD to 6pool her in game 5 of an otherwise great series.
Oz is no slouch though, and MacSed is very aggressive - Scarlett's biggest weakness is probably Immortal all-ins.

She'll probably make it. Nestea beat her 3-1 the last time they met, but his ZvZ has declined big time

JD afaik never dropped a game to TaeJa in HotS.
Pretty sure they only played one series at dreamhack that was decided by JD running lings through an open wall off. Not exactly a great indicator. Especially when JD has played against terrans of similar skill like Polt and Bomber he has gotten manhandled.

Its fall so Hero's power levels should be starting to rise while Taeja's fall, so Jaedong beats Taeja in Ro4 and Hero beats Polt, then Jaedong finally wins in the finals.
Edit: Unless that Taeja/Jaedong final can't happen with the way the brackets work, which would be sad for me.

JD 2 0 TaeJa @ DreamHack Summer Ro4 JD 1 0 (or 2 0, do not remember) TaeJa @ SC2L JD 2 0 TaeJa @ IEM Stage 2 qualification Just from top of my head.

Taeja hasn't done so well against Jaedong. He hasn't won a single match against him in broadcasted games.

1 or 2 series in the past couple of months doesn't mean a lot... i think even the biggest JD fanboy would admit taeja is favored in that head to head right now. anything can happen but i would pick taeja all day to win

Unless we are talking about finals, JD knows TaeJa's number in games. Killer instinct, huh.

hero was looking for a house he just got a place to stay you think he is in top shape ?
But Apocalypse is terrible. So then HuK only needs to get a lucky win against Byul or polt, or even luckier, he could just beat Apocalypse twice maybe.

I think he is in the IM house at the moment. I'm sure his condition will be fine.

Speculation that they are going to region lock next year is pretty strong.

Doesn't actually look very hard. Heart isn't that great and ZvZ against any foreigner should be a good time for JD. Taeja may or may not beat him but the two of them should advance.

Apocalypse TvP is not good, he has struggled vs Minigun several times. I don't know about HuK's PvT specifically but I can see why people think he would beat him. I do agree that Byul will most likely beat them both, though.

Polt's got 3 mu's to prep for so he's not guaranteed. I'm expecting Byul and Huk

He'll just use his standard builds and practice through ladder like he always does. He'll be more than fine to take first
That's too long of a break.. Games should be played sooner imo. Ro16 to Finals is gonna be insanely clumped up, and players are going to be fatigued for sure.
I need someone to write Scarlett/Macsed fanfic <3 The premise will be something like: Bound by the red string of fate, Macsed meets Scarlett again in the Ro16. Scarlett will will play her games, leaving Macsed behind to come out first in her group. Unfazed, Macsed takes down Oz and Nestea to woo Scarlett in the round of 8.
How much do we need to pay Artosis (and to a lesser extent Fionn <3) to not pick Scarlett to win her group. I want her to win, I really really want her to win. But if they predict her we know what will happen.
Please for the love of all that is good and foreign, DO NOT PICK SCARLETT TO WIN ARTOSIS!
ezpz group for Polt If JD figures out ZvT he should get out aswell Scarlett has fairly manageable tosses, hopefully she makes it Hyun should easily make it too
Group A: Taeja and Jaedong no question, if Taeja goes out then summer is officially over.
Group B: I'm hoping for Scarlett but all players here have a chance to get out, in my opinion. Although I'm not sure what form Nestea is in. Macsed might do better than Oz though.
Group C: HyuN and HerO should be the two obvious picks here, I'm not sure that in their current state CranK or Hack can contest these 2. Which is too bad, I really like Hack.
Group D: Polt should get out, for the other 3 I think this may be very close. ByuL could always surprise, he seems to be getting better, especially vs Terran. Taking out MajOr and Ryung to get in Premier. If he takes Apocalypse he may be able to clinch it against HuK. Though I'm all for HuK getting out, we need more foreigners.
My heart tells me Scarlett and Nestea will be the ones to make it. I don't think A is the group of death, since Taeja and Jaedong will make it out easily. Anyways, really looking forward to these two groups. And lastly: GO HuK!

You have to be a freakin Taeja Fanboy if yout think he can beat JD. They are 7:0 in Hots if i recall correctly...

Yeah no one has ever beaten someone they have lost to traditionally. If you watch Taeja play, you don't have to be a fanboy to think he has a pretty good shot against JD. You have to be a Fanboy to think JD is "unbeatable" against Taeja.

But JD was never beaten by TaeJa. So, as of now, he is 'unbeatable'. Kinda like Innovation was considered unbeatable in TvZ having lost fair and square TvZ to Soulkey before Group B happened.

So far. But to sit there and say there is no way that Taeja can beat JD is ludicrous.

Unbeatable doesnt mean "not been beaten yet". It means "not possible to beat". JD is obviously not close to unbeatable in tvz, though well see if hes upped his game a little bit since last wcs

Yeah. Macsed should advance as 1st or 2nd, his PvZ is really good. He pretty much got his ideal group with no Terrans <3, his phoenix colossus style r just too predictable.
Jaedong got destroyed by Polt and Bomber before. I really don't think he has figured out how to defeat World Class Top Terran yet.
Sen has serious issue against Protoss, he's on a losing streak against Parting. However, group A has zero Protoss. Since ZvZ is Sen's supposedly strongest match-up, I feel Sen has a better shot than Jaedong.

Sen is just doing bad overall.I dont know what the hell happened to him, but he keeps floating so much resources because he misses so many injects. Not the Sen I know from WCS finals where he beat Curious and LiquidHero.....
