Groups 8, 11 and 13 are difficult imo.

And I dont understand why Star Station and Neo Planet S are still in the mappool.

I think it will be hard for the main stream to choose which group stage games to broadcast, simply too many good players!

So final starts past midnight. Not surprised, classic Dreamhack way of doing things as always. They really prefer american audience instead of europeans.

I find it completely unacceptable to let players play that late at an ‘offline’ event. Also, 23/32 of the seeds are Korean, what do they base the seeding on?

Yeah, its pretty funny how Sjow was top-4 last time and now he has to start from beginning instead of some korean who has never even played in any Dreamhack event.

....and than comes the game where someone will win vs Jaedong.

Those seeds are so weird.

Who is:
FXOpen Hurricane (P)?
Quantic Gaming Venus (P)
FXOpen sC (T)
StarTale Avenge (P)

and wtf have they done to get seed. Or is this somekind of deal with DH and korean teams. If they send players, DH will seed them to group stage 2.

Sjow not getting a seed is almost as silly as people not knowing who sc, avenge, or hurricane are.

I think I will engage my usuala DH mode: ignore until Sunday, then watch the shit out of it. Really, Saturday will be just random games of SC2 without any structure or significance, there is too much going on to follow who plays who for what reason. On the other hand, Sunday will probably be as awesome as ever.

Kind of crazy when you see some of these names in the first group stage. Just tells you how insane this tournament is gonna be, when someone as good as Daisy isn't seeded.

Hurricane is also FXO's ace lately.
Edit: and sC is a legend, he's been riddled with health problems (collapsed lung) and military time stuff , but has been playing since the get go including a legendary series against Nestea that should have been the finals (that was the season Nestea wiped the floor with Inca).

Such a shame, since he fell out of the RO32 at WCS not attending this DH could seriously endanger his chances of attending Blizzon finals.

StarTale Avenge (P)

and wtf have they done to get seed. Or is this somekind of deal with DH and korean teams. If they send players, DH will seed them to group stage 2.

I.... uhhh.... do you not watch the korean scene of SC2?

Looking forward to dreamhack though!

Good to see almost all of the Koreans seeded while high placing participants from past Dreamhacks have to fight their way through the first groupstage...

That seems a wee bit unfair or biased.

@everyone who is wondering where Naniwa is he is seeded directly into group #2 along with a few other people
Nvm that was IEM so where the hell is he?
also I had never heard of hurricane before but sC? Who has not heard of him
He was a sick player who just took a bit of a break, these same people are probably going to want to know who Scarlett is when she comes back in a few months... Seriously peoples memories are so shot these days
The End Is Coming--when SCBW dies WWIII will break out--you heard it here first

it's not exactly DH's fault that you don't know some of the stronger Korean players. i don't know who Venus is either though to be fair

Oh nice to see sC hurricane and avenge there
To all the haters: you deserve to witness many, many more Serral victories, worthy of the godlike player he is.

I don´t really see, how Venus got a Seed over Ret/NightEnD/Sjow/Daisy/Hwangsin/elfi. Accoridng to aligulac he has a 1080-rating ( As a comparism: That is outside of the german top 10; elfi (Group stage 1) has about 500 points more), career earnings of 250 Dollars and 0 WCS-points.

Hurricane was formerly known as Tear. Maybe the name change confuses people!
