NASL has released the groups and schedule for the WCS America Premier League Round of 32. Notable is the fact that Scarlett's group has been scheduled last, meaning she may not have to forfeit as she had previous hinted.
Not too bad a group for HuK to advance, he's PvT is looking strong lately (not that it matters vs Taeja) and I'm sure he's definitly able to beat a no name protoss!!! It's comeback time!!!!
Group A, WOW. Group F is group EG, which sucks because I want to see Demu and Suppy get out, but I dont think both of them will. I had a feeling that they would place Scarlett in the last group, allowing her time to rest and give her the ability to play in S3 (hopefully), so she still has a chance to make Blizzcon.

Because her participating is obviously far more important than her health. ./slap

She said she was taking September off. This might have meant a few days into October as well, it might not. If it did, it would not be much of s sacrifice to start back a few days early. Since it's online, she doesn't even have to travel anywhere faster.
Well, I think Blizzard/NASL got in contact with Acer/Scarlett regarding Scarletts schedule. The chance of her getting group G is just so small that this can't possibly be a coincidence. Of course it will be hard for her, because she won't be able to really practice, but on the other side... her group isn't insanely strong and there's so much on the line (Blizzcon) that it's definitely worth a try as long as it isn't during the rehab-time (which it isn't... probably ).

She also stated clearly she wouldn't be participating in this season multiple times (even with it being in her home country). And the condition of her wrist is the issue - not travel.
Without a confirmation from her it's all just hearsay.
That being said noone is a bigger fan than me, but these people pushing her to play is ridiculous. Let the girl heal and she will play when she's ready.

I hope for Jaedong, but probably it will be Polt, Taeja or even Revival or Hero.
Keep in mind that Polt will have much less practice time now that college has started again. Basically all of Polt's good results this year have came in the summer when their was no college for him. We'll just have to wait and see how he does.

I can search the fanclub and find the quote, but she said she wasn't playing because she assumed the schedule would be in September. She didn't say she was not participating in the season no matter what.
I mean if they purposefully put her last so she could play you'd think they would consult her to make sure she could actually play. Otherwise what's the point? It's hearsay backed up by reasonable deduction

It would be speculation at best at this point to say they put her in the final group on purpose. My issue isn't with the speculation and the hope she plays in season 3 anyway - it's with people looking past her injury and only giving a shit that she plays.
If you pay attention you'll realize she frequents TL. These live LANs are high pressure / stress enough without her having to cross some of these absurd posts / expectations from random people. More compassion less pressure feeding !
P.S. You should stop in IRC more often Chyt - you been slacking.

That's not what hearsay means, but anyway she just assumed it would start mid September but it didn't. This is fairly obvious. Why else would taking September off imply not playing WCS?

I agree. Let her do what she feels is right. We as fans may mourn now, but it's owrth it if this is what she has to sacrifice to continue being a pro a few years down the line.
3 EG in one group, you´ve got to be fucking kidding...
I wish someone would introduce a system, where first teams are seeded for a maximum spread, and then the spots are filled out randomly. Teamkills are just so frustrating to watch (and yeah, somehow Demuslim will get the short end again).

Speculation is a better choice of word (apparently the point I was making was still obvious so not quite sure what you are getting at.)
In any case, I won't pretend to know what she did or did not assume. I'll leave that one to you.

Should we take this as confirmation of your participation?
It's pretty ambiguous. Like...if you didn't think you could win in a certain matchup, and you were recovering from injury, would you cut your recovery short just to play?

Losses 33.33% of fanbase.
Not that I think thats true anyway, it's doubtful that a player has an even distribution of fans from the 3 races. More likely a larger portion for the race they play ^_^
Are these random?? How does polt win season 2 and then get ridiculously screwed with the mozt stacked group BY FAR.. Some of those other groups are a joke
Dat group A. Oh well, here are some predictions! Group winner first, then runner up. Polt/Hyun ( Revival) Jaedong/TheStC ( Vibe) Sen/Hwangsin aLive/Byul Taeja/Huk Oz/Demuslim HerO/Jim Scarlett/puCK (provided Scarlett plays, if not puCK/Crank)
Man...if only Nestea was still killing it in ZvZ. I'd of been hyped for his match against JD, sc1 ZvZ god vs sc2 ZvZ god. Sadly Nestea withered away waiting for Jaedong to come over ;;
It's kind of like the unbelievably anticipated Flash vs MVP encounter that still hasn't happened.
