Why do people put the highest value/person projected to do best as their captain? I would rather put a 1 pointer as my captain, because he would never be traded in the first place. The reason I pick a 1 pointer anyway is to afford the top picks. Meanwhile, my 10 pointer could be racking up wins and still be used for a trade later in the season if something happens. | ||

Also, if you are creating balanced team (=a lot of 3/4/5 pointers and one like 7 pointer) instead of few one pointers and few top players, you would want to have a player that can perform the best as captain. But yeah, if you have 1 pointer in your team, then obviously it's the best choice for captain. Problem is, I don't seem to recall such an approach (weak players that do not play + few strongest players) winning a round in fantasy leagues. | ||
