(2:18 PM - 31 Aug 13) hyvaa was asking around for a team recently, so unless he suddenly changed his mind he hasn't retired

Then Kespa players switched over from BW and people expect that the scene can suddenly accommodate almost 100 new players. It was a bubble that was doomed to burst, and now we have to clean up the mess. It is not so much that the scene is dying, but more the fact that there is too many teams and too many players. it was fun while it lasted, though! the current scene just wouldn't have been the same without Kespa. i'm glad that a lot of new players come in and showed us some fun games and i hope that they find a way to stick around. players like soulkey, dear, sos, fantasy, jaedong, and lots of other strong contenders are really what keeps this scene from becoming too stagnant for me. ![]()

Same thing happened with ForGG/TheStC/Supernova when oGs disbanded. Supernova was the best of the three and while the other two quickly joined foreign teams, Supernova held out for a better offer.
