I think it's the opposite. He loves StarCraft so much that the universe has to compensate by cursing the players he supports. Think about it. Tasteless is CONFIRMED™ for having lost his passion, and yet his prediction is the Tasteless blessing. Together they balance each other out.

I think the point is... Favorites do well UNTIL Artosis PREDICTS them to win. Then they lose... tuss the course

I have a hard time believing a lot of this isn't just down to confirmation bias, especially in the older results. Now that the Artosis Curse is a thing nobody even remembers whenever Artosis was right, but everybody jumps at the chance to dig up right predictions.
I applaud the effort people are putting into this, but I think this way of collecting data is bound to get skewed results.
