I think that's about as appropriate/useful as asking how much money Monster gives to EG or The Little App Factory gives to Liquid. (Hint: Not very.)

He was just curious about how much it costs to sponsor a team, he's obviously not asking for an exact figure, he just wanted to know if buying a couple of headsets/mice is all it takes or if there were significant amounts of money involved as well. It's a perfectly reasonable question and I'm curious as well. I would expect it to take a lot more than what was implied by the original post. These reactions however are not very useful. If you don't know anything then why bother replying?

I'm also curious (I personally wondered how much they give before daphreak asked, but it's really none of my business), but if you read her signature, she likely knows a bit more than you or I about the subject. Haha, fair point ![]() It was aimed more at the previous 3-4 posts rather than hers but she was just the latest one to reply!

If you don't know anything then why bother replying? yes. i wasnt trying to imply anything negative about ROOT or anything. i just feel that a team like ROOT deserves so much more than just peripherals if they are advertising your company. they get a lot of attention from the community (i.e., prospective customers) and deserve a lot in return from their sponsors.

Don't worry about the negative reactions; a lot of people are curious (myself included!) and are interested in things like this.

Just saying, a TT mouse can range $60-100+, and the same is true of some of their headsets. Plus a $20 mouse pad for every player, that's a pretty substantial amount of money given ROOT has like 20 players on their team.
