We have waited long enough and I want to give a huge shout-out to the guy who made this trailer. To the best of my examinations, I was not able to identify a source for someone who made it, but as it is now only late night in China and uploaded ten hours ago on youtube, this launch trailer will catch on like wild-fire.

This was actually fan made.
Given the fact that if one pays 15 USD for a full WoL account and they get a free HoTS account, it would be an incentive.

Eh, I just use the trailer to jumpin a conversation on the Chinese scene :D
That is really solid work especially if it was an amateur labour of love!
Reminds me of that old advert with the guy on the plane sitting beside a hydralisk, similar models were used I think it was a Korean SC-related ad campaign?

Given how separated China is from the rest of the game, I don't think it'll grow our scene too much (but also, what do I know?). It's certainly good for the game, Blizzard knows how big the Chinese market is, which is why they always push their games over there. Similar to Wal-Mart, they're pretty dominant all over the world (except a few places, Korea and Germany for example), and are trying reeeaaaaalllly hard to get their foot into China, given how fast their population is growing. A small % of players over there can easily be a really large number of people

I also worry about China and for all the people there, but sometimes there is a place and time and I don't think this is the place. I hope lots of Chinese people will enjoy playing Starcraft and become an amazing new part of the community!
Also I don't think trying to insult/alienate others with help people see your viewpoint.
