To be fair, my D+/C- on iCCup friend once pulled off a successful 1v6 against me and my noob friends back when I was a noob, so I'm sure Flash can handle worse odds. 1v16 should be reasonable.

275g is a bit less than 1 cubic-inch. Based on the picture, I'd say the mouse itself is about 6 cubic inches... or about 100 cm3 Oh, and for mechanical reason it is very unlikely to be 22K (the little cord sticking out of the mouse would be way too susceptible to plastic deformation with 22K gold, iow too fragile) So it is quite likely that the 275g refer to the pure (24K) gold content of the contraption. which would translate to about 23 cm3 of 18K gold... which indicate that 1/ only the mouse is in gold, and 2/ it is hollow.

Not everyone knows about e-sports (unfortunately). On June 21 2013 18:57 Napoleon53 wrote: 275g solid gold is only like 14 cm^3. Then again the mouse is not very big. Solid gold sounds right to me. Edit: but 18 carat would make more sense Yeah, isn't pure gold like a really soft metal that bends and deforms at like the slightest touch? It would have to have some other metal in it, if only to allow it to keep its shape. On June 21 2013 21:48 graNite wrote: why is this newsworthy? You tell me. The only way they'd be able to get rid of it is if they melted it down for the gold, and every pawn shop/gold seller would be on the lookout for someone selling 275g of gold, as soon as the police report came in. Koreans take their SC SERIOUSLY. That's why fences exist. That way you don't have to take your stolen jewelry to a CASH4GOLD shop.

This quantity of gold would sell for 96-97% of the current nymex/London fix price depending on how well you know the trader or how good you are at haggling. As the melt value of the item is worth (ballpark) 5% of Flash's annual salary I think the entire thread is irrelevant.
