ViBE and MajOr reach Premier League Season II - VODs
Match Results from Live Report Thread by juicyjames. + Show Spoiler [Overall Results] +
1. | ViBE | 2 - 0 | 2. | MajOr | 2 - 1 | 3. | KiLLeR | 1 - 2 | 4. | Bails | 0 - 2 |
As the respective WCS champions from the USA and Mexico in 2012, ROOT.ViBE and 8th_MajOr did not do as well as they would have hoped in 2013's first WCS Premier League Season, dropping out in the Ro32. They earned second chances last night, fighting their way through an entirely non-Korean Challenger League group to re-qualify for the Premier League in Season 2.
ViBE was able to come in first, taking out the young American c.Bails in his first match and then defeating another Clarity player in c.KiLLeR in the winners match. For MajOr, the way through was more difficult, as he started off the night getting crushed 2 - 0 by Killer's muta-ling-bane play. However, MajOr was able to mount a comeback, defeating Bails in the losers match, and then winning the rematch against Killer on the back of some good drop harassment.
ViBE and Major advance to the Season II Premier League, KiLLeR falls to the Challenger League, and Bails has been eliminated entirely.
Currently Qualified for WCS America Premier League Season II (20/32):
HerO, Alicia, CranK, puCK, MacSed
mOOnGLaDe, Snute, Revival, Scarlett, NesTea, viOLet, ViBE
Ryung, aLive, Polt, DeMusliM, Apocalypse, theognis, TheStC, MajOr

Glad to see MajOr playing so solid, I thought Killer would be the end of him, but he came back strong.

Killer Someone do the research for me: was killer the only foreigner to take a set off of a Korean in the Ro32?

Oh yeah, he was an actual American hope in the Ro32. My bad. Sorry Suppy I still think that you'd be the best foreigner if you played full time!

im curious how is Major gonna travel to America if he makes it to RO16. I dont think Team8 would be willing to pay for his fare back and forth would they?

They might pay for some of it but also he might have some money saved up since he did so well in WCS last year plus saved salary since the teamhouse pays for all his necessities. I can't say for sure though that's just my suspicions.

I may be wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere.

Might be a little "rude" of me, but this group was pretty much predictable IMO.. The only "risk" to say so was if Killer killed Major twice, i.e. - if Killer did his own "weirdness" to take out him, but still - that was like "80/20" or maybe like "70/30" chance that Major wouldn't go, still - even for foreigners - Kespa is Kespa.., so.. not as much surprised though..
