Tails and VortiX reach Premier League Season II
Match Results from Live Report Thread by SinCitta. + Show Spoiler [Match Details] +
MVP's TAiLS made it five Koreans in the next season of WCS Europe's Premier league, breaking through his Challenger League group in first place with wins over K3.VortiX and aTn.Socke. TAiLS became the first Korean player geographically based in Korea to make it through to the EU Premier League while playing entirely online, starting his way down in the qualifiers earlier this season and finally breaking through the Challenger League.
After successfully defending his faster expansions to defeat Socke in a PvP, TAiLS went on to defeat VortiX 2 - 1 in the winners match, using two-base all-ins to secure his victories.
Down in the losers match, 2012 WCS Germany champion Socke was eliminated from the Challenger league by the newcomer Noname. However, Noname was unable to capitalize on his upset fully, losing to VortiX in the final match of the night for the remaining Premier League spot. TAiLS and VortiX qualify for the next Premier League season, Noname qualifies for the next Challenger League season, while Socke must work his way up from the Challenger League qualifiers.
Currently Qualified for Premier League Season II (18/32):
LG-IM_Mvp, Mill.ForGG, K3.LucifroN, Empire|Happy, Acer.MMA, c.Shuttle, Mill.Dayshi
EG.Stephano.RC, DIMAGA, d.Tefel, Liquid`Ret, Acer.Bly, Liquid`TLO, K3.VortiX
MVP.TAiLS, Na`Vi.BabyKnight, XMG.ToD, Grubby

Thanks for your contribution?
On the topic, however, I knew Tails would get through! I'm so glad, I feel like the guy really needs to be able to break out somewhere...he deserves it. <3

Vortix fighting!
Count the WC3 pros in that list. Love it.

true is Kr >>> EU/US so hard its not even funny to watch

Then just don't post in the thread. It's annoying to see people constantly moaning how they don't care about a topic while posting in the thread. Give some credit to the hard-practising players or keep your silence.
Maybe you'd care if you lived in EU or US, but when you don't give a shit, just fuck off.

I hope SaSe can overcome the Taiwan -> EU lag tonight (it seems he's back in Taiwan, judging from his stream yesterday). The matches are played live right?

A bit excessive, but I agree. All WCS feeds into the season finals anyway, so it's still meaningful in the end.

I actually feel similarly about WCS AM, although a little less strongly, I do think that WCS EU is better than WCS AM on the whole though.
Edit: Although, why post that in this thread?

So, who will be the first Korean Zerg to break into Europe?
|
Stephano will forfeit, won't he? I thought he'd stop playing by June or so?

EU is doing fine in terms of beating koreans here and there. I would say Kr >> EU >> NA
And Vortix fighting!
edit: On May 28 2013 20:47 boxerfred wrote: Stephano will forfeit, won't he? I thought he'd stop playing by June or so? Stephano said on WCS EU stream that he will play in wcs season finals as long as he doesnt have exams the next days/weeks.
