If I order my pizza now am I still eligible for the shirt or have they already given out the lower tier prizes? They haven't given out prizes yet. You better hurry!!! They are doing it soon! That's all fine and dandy, and you can laugh all you want; none of that changes the fact that the contest site says that the prizes will be given to those who buy pizzas, not to those who buy pizzas and tweet about them. Furthermore, contests and promotions tend to go over better when the rules and terms are made clear from the outset, rather than being clarified after the event has begun. That's nice that you love twitter so much.

Guys, the fact that we don't have discounted pizza here in Canada is an injustice! Please email Papa John's and tell them how mad you are!

Twitter is stupid, and forcing people to use it just to gain entry is kinda BS...
why can't we just post on their FB? or send an Email?
or just have no requirement besides ordering a pizza and using the code.....
|
Twitter is stupid, but i'll gladly post it on their FB..........................
its easiest to keep track of via Twitter.

It would be really cool to see how many pizzas were bought. Maybe they could just put a number beside it showing how they sold. But I don't think they will.

its kinda sad, i refuse to use facebook or twitter or any of those online sites, as i feel they take away rights, since things you say or do can be used against you. I wish they would just use the address and name you supply when you order using the code. I will lose out on any of the drawings, but i guess what really matters is that its going to support something i really enjoy.

The whole promotion and meter stuff seems like someone planned it last minute. Such poor, unprofessional execution of a marketing campaign. Not sure if the fault lies with Papa John or the e-sport organizations involved. The first time I read rules, I had no idea how the prize will be given out or how to be eligible besides just buying a pizza. There's no timeline of when the prize will be given out, how many prizes, the odds of winning, and other information you usually find in a contest. There's no number associated to each tier. Hell, you guys can be making up the numbers right now. The meter never updated in near real time. Even an hourly update would be appreciated; it's not that hard with current technology. The entire execution made it unappealing to support this promotion.
Next time, spend more time planning out your strategy.

So I'm in Europe, but I'd be really happy to support this project by ordering a few pizzas for a homeless shelter or a family that could use some support (it's not great nutrition, but even the poor deserve to enjoy a good pizza, right?) Does anyone have any information that might help me set up something like that?
