If you don't like PJ's, then don't buy it. At least appreciate that this helps the community without invoking Godwin's law. How exactly does it help the community? I think with the money ppl now suddenly spend on PJ, those OMGWTF events could easily be paid. Actually they could probably be hold monthly for a whole year... Or are we talking about the poor american starving esport-loving children, that had the lifetimewish to eat once at PJ and now finally can afford it due to the oh so amazing 50% off deal (wtf... why is Pizza so expensive in the states? Congrats you now reached a normal EU-prizelevel)

Um... read your links please... "The innovation that gave us the flat bread we call pizza was the use of tomato as a topping. For some time after the tomato was brought to Europe from the Americas in the 16th century, it was believed by many Europeans to be poisonous (as are some other fruits of the nightshade family). " I did however mention in my post that italians made it and hence I gave the point to Italy, not America.

That's just the tomato Keep reading the article "Pizza first made its appearance in the United States with the arrival of Italian immigrants in the late 19th century and was very popular among large Italian populations in New York City, Chicago, and Philadelphia. In the late 19th century, pizza was introduced by peddlers who walked up and down the streets with a metal washtub of pizzas on their heads, selling their wares at two cents a chew. It was not long until small cafes and groceries began offering pizzas to their Italian-American communities."
