Before I made the academy and WCS NA was announced DJWheat announced that he was willing to sponsor entry fees for four players. I PM'd him about it and I was honest with him about who I was, I told him about a post I made, and that I called into his show. I Further explained that I was being immature and that I was sorry. I wouldn't normally post personal messages but I think its appropriate right now and I have left everything that can be deemed personal out. http://puu.sh/2LCF5.png The fake incontrol twitter is not mine either, im not trying to hide anything and im sorry for my mistakes in the past and I hope that you give me the time to prove myself. Im really appreciative of the people who don't know me and after seeing the video decided to wait or give me a second chance. Im also sorry to my team mates for being part of the reason this thread is what it is when it was supposed to be about them as much as it was about me. Thank you Clarity and thanks to the people who support me and stick by my side~

When we take something like this and throw it under this ridiculous, punitive magnifying glass, anyone could look like an irrevocable fool, while in fact 100% of the other interactions we have had with him are true to what Winter said: I'm sure he regrets doing this, just as I'm sure everyone who gets any moment of exposure to the public regrets an action of theirs. What's important is moving past it and showing what kind of person you are going to be moving forward, and Mewby has shown nothing but integrity to not only Clarity Gaming but everyone who took part in the Academy tournament process. I know it's a lot of fun to pull out these pitchforks, but let's try to realize that this is an isolated incident with no evidence to support an attitude from Mewby that condones this sort of behavior. He relished in it, was given multiple chances to cut it out but he is nothing but a bully and this team backs him up blindly because he is kind to THEM. Yes of course he'll be kind to his friends, is it that surprising he's a class act in front of you? Does that excuse what he did, the pos he was throughout the whole conversation when he was treated with respect and as an adult by the person he was disparaging. I'm just glad this didn't go unnoticed, because now a lot of people see the kind of team this is, instead of a statement of apology you prop him up because he was kind to you guys. Yeah no shit he was. And whats the other excuse, because others do it it's ok? Awesome, you guys are going places! Keep up the great work, rise above the rest huh. Seeing that video was cringing, seeing the other adults in the room beside him patting him on the back, what a good guy he is, is..fucking typical really.

There happen to be a reference, I'm on page 5 and all I see is they are speculating it's not while others believe he's trying to cover his own tracks. It's either one and the same person or the karma that another asshole is out to get him is incredible. Not to mention the other person in question also takes the time in his life to make fun of incontrol because he "looks" fat (when in reality it's all muscle), enough to make and continue updating a twitter account. Incredible coincidence/karma or one and the same. The former would be so ironic it should go down in a record book.

To address one of your concerns from your earlier post: We will be addressing the community with a press release later tonight. We will not be apologizing, simply addressing this matter in it's entirety. Not that I think you really care. You're just here to stir the pot - that is quite evident by your last few posts. Cheers~

Oh yeah? Do you have any proof of this? A replay, a screen shot, anything? I doubt it or you probably would have posted it. But if you do have proof, by all means share.

It's funny though, how quickly people are to forgive assholes in the community.. I hope Clarity realizes this is gonna scar them for a long time.

A lot of people could do things like cannon rush every game and get a bump in viewers, but many people have more "integrity" than that. In SC 2 esports, sadly, it's not always about earning what you get. If someone wants to have a debate on the subject, then so be it. You know I think this is an interesting misconception worth debating, and here looks like a good opportunity. If this is off topic then I apologize and will stop immediately, but given the chance, I just want to make a quick point. When I first watched Combat Ex, he seemed like a nice guy, actually just seemed very sarcastic but like he genuinely cared for his fans and the quality he puts out. I had no idea the things he put out may have been dishonest and that he was belittling and disingenuous at the time until it eventually became clear. He went from a sarcastic but decent guy to an all out ass, troll, you name it. So what happened, where is he now? Does this sort of thing really work? Then take someone like Day9 who at the time didn't even have the same following as CombatEx, or even Husky starcraft who also didn't like CombatEx's attitude. These guys are genuinely kind and mature, they don't resort to getting more hits so to speak at another persons expense. Where are they now? Husky starcraft has 3/4 of a MILLION subs, Day9 has Day9daily. Now lets look at a more recent case. EgIdra everyone likes to refer to. Look at him and Demuslim. EgIdra was a total badass but when I followed him he still seemed like a genuinely good guy, he never seemed anything close to Combat or this no name, he simply didn't call GG for what he felt wasn't GG and was genuinely pissed at the imbalance of races. But he worked hard, you could tell, he was very serious before, he was human but now what happens. He begins to really belittle people above and beyond, telling someone he hopes they get cancer. So EgIdra's stream gets nocked down in viewers while Demuslim, generally a nice guy, doesn't have to resort to any of that, by far isn't the best of the very very best, but look at the views he gets. So does this sort of crap really get more views, especially in the long run? Is it the integrity, and not crossing the line and rising above it that gets more views. You can be the judge, but just wanted to put my opinion of it out there. To stay on subject, this guy is 20 years old, this isn't his past catching up to him either, this is very recent. At 20 years old, if he's not drilled that this is fucked up to do, that no one likes a bully besides other bullies, then what age does it take for him to change? Again, this is current, this isn't a mistake that's catching up to him from his past. I'm not calling from him to be removed from the team, I'm just expressing how f'd up that was in not exactly the same way he expressed his displeasure with Incontrol, and for what? The hell did Incontrol do to him anyway?
