They are clearly right - viewers generally fail to see most of the intricacies if they don't play on a high level themselves (most do not) and casters generally fail to showcase these things to the general audience, concentrating on entertainment value and the most obvious things (and the ones that are easy to explain). It's the little things that make SC2 (and BW, too) so fun to play and watch, little things that most people don't seem to take notice of. They are not "blaming the audience", they communicated the need for casters to emphasise these things and balance the silly entertainment factor with proper casting. | ||

Actually they were blaming the casters for not conveying the knowledge properly and instead spout nonsense stuff like "What is your favourite NES game?". | ||
