After going through quite a few line-up changes in our StarCraft II division, we here at WesternWolves are proud to announce the addition of the South-Korean Daisy to our pack.
The past few weeks have been filled with both ups and downs for our StarCraft II division. March started out with the departure of Miniraiser, who left because of personal reasons. Shortly after, the announcement of signing Arthur filled our hearts with joy once more. And now, we're back with even better news.
WW SIGNS DAISY
Let's continue with a few words from our Head Manager, Florent Dauvister:
Daisy is the perfect fit in our line-up. The performances he showed at the end of last year were amazing and were barely noticed. He placed in the top13-16 for three MLGs in a row and then managed to finish top5-8 at IEM Katowice at the beginning of the year. To us, those results are definitely the sign the he is starting to bloom as a player and with HotS just being released we hope to provide him with the perfect support for him to reach new heights and achieve his goals. We are very much looking forward to the year 2013 with him.
Upon signing the paperwork, Daisy mentioned he'd like a statement posted as well:
I am truly honoured to join forces with WesternWolves. After leaving my previous team, they actively approached me and showed a lot of interest in signing me. Since I already know both SortOf and Sting, I am certain I will fit in the team very easily. A big thank you to the entire organisation for presenting me with very positive contract terms and the warm welcome.

All from sponsors, we do not spend recklessly, and we have enjoyed extreme growth throughout 2012, please do remember we are not only a SC2 team.
Without the help of Saphire, AMD and especially Mad Catz and their brands Tritton and Cyborg, none of this would be possible
Good stuff. Congrats! And I guess, since he is back in Korea now, he'll be able to play with NSH in GSTL.

Never tired of dealing with visas I see. More power to you Tidus

Yay daisy! I wish he could see him playing in the EPS again... ;;
Another amazing pickup, glad to see him back again

He's back in Korea for now, so i'm afraid that he won't be playing EPS

WW is getting better every day. good to have another rising european team congrats to both parties!
"To us, those results are definitely the sign the he is starting to bloom as a player" I see what they did there...
Really interested in how well he will do. I always liked the guy and thought he had potential, despite never really receiving any top spots. He was fairly consistent, I thought. Now just waiting for Naniwa on WW ^_^
Also, it's always nice to see team managers respond to stuff in threads. Much appreciated!
Nice pick up! Arthur and Daisy both seem to be underrated. WW looking stronger than ever.
WW is getting to the point where they can be a threat to any European team on a good day. But they are still one or two steps below the very best teams.
Anyway, gz and gl !
They're getting a lot of players with potential, expecting to hear more of them in future!

So when are you guys going to change your name to Eastern Wolves at the current rate of Korean pick ups.
Really strong team now..really balanced! I'm not sure I like it that they have two focal points (the European scene, and the Korean scene), but Tidus seems to be a really good manager, so good luck!
We all knew, but it's great to see it fianlly annolunced :D
Excellent! Can't wait to see some more of WW in the team leagues now.
Awesome pickup! Good for WW and Daisy
Wow really cool! Is he going to live in the NsHoseo house?
Nice to see Western Wolves growing. I was worried for a while that they might suffer the same fate that another mid-tier team experienced, but it seems they're doing a good job of standing on their own two feet without getting their roster sniped.
Wow WW ha a sick roster now congratz !

Wow that was a quick team search for Daisy! Grats to Daisy and WW!
Gratz to Daisy. He was so funny at the NASL4 hots FFA lol
Daisy and Sting.
Two of my favorite players on one team :>.
Wow, I thought it was gonna be NaNiwa, but still a good pickup for WW. Gj!

Does that make us your favourite team?

Guess this removes WW from the list of NaNiwa's potential new teams.

WW picking up all the forgotten Koreans, just to destroy some foreign teams lol
Doubt they would survive in GSTL, i`d rather watch out for Acer

While I doubt WW would stand a chance in GSTL on their own (no I don't, I know they'd have no chance) this does actually deepen NSH's line quite a bit. Daisy. Sting and Arthur (along with SortOf) are all decent enough to at least be map/player snipers which NSH desperately needs with their rapidly thinning team.
I think Daisy was one of the most underrated players out there. At least during WoL. Hope to see lots during hots. that rhymes and I climb

Totally agree though, he actually showed really promising play and consistency. And looking at how well and often Sting has been playing, I hope to see similar results from Daisy! It's great that WW is working out for its players. When I first saw them, I was afraid it would end up being like Apex. Then I saw Morrow join and it was finalized! But it seems they are doing just fine, thankfully! Hopefully they can loot up another PRO-toss. -Cough- Naniwa...

Sting-Jjakji-Salvation. Arthur-Daisy-Tassadar.
It's a shame they don't have Seal or Freaky anymore otherwise they'd be able to FXO their way to the finals :<
Daisy might have a difficult time readjusting since he's been living in Germany and playing on EU for a little over a year now.
Western Wolves has a pretty strong lineup these days. It is awesome to see a team that was not known so well in 2011 flourish and have some top end players. Gratz to Daisy!
Sick! WW are getting stronger and stronger, hope to see them competing in big team leagues soon.
WW has come a long way from the days Spades was on the team. GL.
Very nice pickup. Daisy is an awesome Protoss. WW starting to look like a super solid team. Sting and Daisy def put in work, especially Sting.
Awesome. Go Daisy!
Is Daisy still living in Germany?

Yes, but he doesn't want to stay in Korea, so we'll try to accommodate him in any way we can

WW rapidly becoming quite a formidable team :O

Sickest pick-up. Probably one of the most talented players in the Hessian scene right now. GSL level at some points, complete all-inner the rest of the time, Daisy will surely be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Congrats and good luck in your new team!
so ready to see them in GSTL and gl to Daisy..always hated your name but love your play
Western wolves looking good! Can't wait to see they dominating in 2013 in all the team leagues
I am also ready to see them in GSTL, it's not like they got all-killed by an amateur team or something, go go WW
Best of luck for my former teammates of Infused! And great pickup

WW have been my favourite team for a while now, and with recent additions are looking really strong! So how come you still can't choose them as "Your favorite progaming team" (team flair) in profile settings? Would love to support them :>
OT: gz Daisy and WW!

We're not the only team missing at that. You can find the discussion/requirements/rules that TL keeps at http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=340580¤tpage=35#682 and I'd encourage you to post there.
