The mousesports StarCraft II division is getting ready for the upcoming challenges by signing another talented player. The rather unknown Dan "mouz hOpe" Gustafsson will join the franchise and strengthen the SC2 team from today on. The 20-year-old Swede has recently gathered the interest from several teams with his championship run in a Go4SC2 tournament aswell as his all-kill performance for his team Starcraft Freaks Clan against the well respected team of Western Wolves in the European Teamstory Qualifier.
Along with Gustafsson, also Wictor "mouz wake" Hasselmark will join the mousesports brand as new official StarCraft II coordinator, focused on daily operations aswell as IPTV Livestreaming. Hasselmark has been in charge of Team Management and Public Relations for Western Wolves before joining mousesports.
Dan "mouz hOpe" Gustafsson: "I am very excited and happy to have the chance to play for mousesports, one of the teams that I really respect, and I will do the best I can to live up to its name. I hope that I can proove my motivation and will over the upcoming months. I will also try to stream my practice along the way as much as I possibly can. Special thanks to mousesports and all of its sponsors, BenQ, GeIL, Razer and Thortech for this big opportunity!"
Wictor "mouz wake" Hasselmark: "I'm very excited to become a part of such a prestigious team as mousesports. My respect towards mousesports has always been high and thus joining the organization itself is a dream coming true. As mousesports new StarCraft II Coordinator, I'll make sure that this will be a new beginning - a new chapter - not just for me, but for the StarCraft II team itself. I will focus to maintain our players good mood and always be at their side. We will make sure that we will train harder, faster and stronger to reach bigger goals and make 2013 our most successful year of StarCraft II since the release of Wings of Liberty. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is merely the beginning of mouz 2013."

congratulations to both parties! i was wondering if mouz is going to add more players now that they're participating in teamstory. there's my answer i guess
Really talented players on the mouz roster now, hope they will perform well in the Acer Teamstory Cup!
What race is hOpe playing btw? I heard of him the first time after his allkill this week, but I've never actually seen him play. Mouz kinda lack good zerg players, haven't heard much of Protosser lately.
Yes, this is an example of mouz picking up foreign talent as I hoped for. hOpe impressed at the Go4SC2 cup he won and all-killing WW is great. Nice pickup
hOpe is for sure top 5 zergs on EU server atm, he won couple of go4sc2 cups lately, he all killed WW alone, and he has a bunch of other results. Keep an eye on him and you will see
I don't follow the semi-pro EU scene much but I love when players get opportunities like these. I'm keeping an eye on him for the next couple of months. Make me proud hOpe!
MaNa is his usual beast, Hasu is extremely consistent, HeRoMaRine is consistently proving he is one of the best Terrans in Western Europe, Illusion is easily one of the best 5 players in NA, hOpe has had an amazing start to 2013 in online tournaments..Protosser is the only one who hasn't particularly improved, but he's a pretty good talent to have.
OUCH! I think the non-player signing may actually be more significant. Western Wolves is one of the best up & coming teams, and completely see why mouz poached their manger/PR guy. Hopefully WW doesn't falter as a result.

Protosser only really gets a chance to showcase his ability in Dreamhack's. and his results for those are fairly consistent.

Now he might get his ZvZ going with a fellow zerg on the team. :p

Well, why can't he play in other (online?) leagues? It seems he rarely plays in offline tournaments, just in DreamHacks, and local Finnish LANs (where he is outclassed by Welmu/Naama/elfi)

hopefully both the players and the team can get along well as we can see some awesome franchise players
Yeah, hopefully they're getting lucky again with the talent pickups. biGs was a quite good addition as a relatively unknown player at that time while Ghosta and syck or whatever they were called didn't work out at all.

GhosTa had been with mouz since the WC3 days and Syck was basically his 2v2 partner, not exactly young talent like heromarine/protosser/bigs/hOpe
