Definitely a lot more professional than wallowing in second-tier NA because moving would "cut into my streaming money"

Naniwa definitely has his priorities set competitively.

The Proleague line-ups for Round 4 have been released and Naniwa isn't on any of them, so it seems very unlikely that he'll be on any of the Proleague teams (including EGTL). If he's been signed for a week or two, then I'd guess the team would have put him on the line-up and done an announcement by now. Looking a lot less like EG or TL.

to be fair i think foreigners just based that on his ceremonies vs idra which don't really mean anything lol.

that might be a valid criticism if he took the seed and then left korea after he bombed out like numerous foreigners, but naniwa actually got deep into the GSL two times and continued training with StarTale/MVP for months.

you're just bashing him for no good reason. most pro gamers don't have the time and more importantly money to stay in korea just so they can have a low chance of getting through the qualifiers which are notorious for chewing code s players (and then obviously having to start from the hell of Code A).

see cArn's SC2 career on why this is something that isn't easy to do at all.
