Acer for the obvious Axiom and Korean connections.

KESPA team for the wildcard.

EG for the massive lols and added viewership to Inside the Game.

To put it clearly, I'm not a fan of Naniwa, although I believe him to be a VERY good player. For me I'm over his "matter-of-fact" statements about the community and understand he's just this misunderstood ultra competitive person, but come on, it gets kind of tiring to hear one man bash player after player and caster after caster. He is a good player but he just rubs me the wrong way, ever since his comments to NesTea at the Blizzard Cup. Either that or people please just stop asking him who he thinks he is better than.
No reply.

Lol i love Naniwa trying to be MC. He be hanging out with Min Chul too much, dudes. What if it was Kings of the North? lol. Talking smack dudes.

Haha too tame to be like MC. The only time he bragged like that was when he had a claim to the title of the best foreigner.

The Thorzain banter was because they've been rivals for a long time... but Thorzain has definitely taken the throne in their competitions so far. People are looking for what they want to see if they think he is bashing Thorzain.

-.- Thorzain's a nice guy and definitely made some cool innovations... but Nani should have crushed him long ago. Nani Hwaiting!

I love it, I think this makes things so much more interesting to follow, drama equals interested audience.

Edit: I really hope its not EG, EG does not seem to produce strong players, more of a retirement home.

Training in Korea under Coach Park could be a very attractive reason all alone for Naniwa to look at EG - although we'll have to wait and see.

I'm not sure how well Naniwa would get along with Axiom.

Wildcard shot would be a "token" foreigner pickup from a Kespa team.

Don't like his attitude but he is too good of a foreigner to be off the market for too long.
If GSL has to give a foreigner seed out, he should be one of them.
I haven't seen any of his games since... umm. He lost to Mvp?

I really agree about EG. Seems anyone who goes there stop performing very well. I don't think there is an EG curse. I just think that EG is such a rich and well-run team that the players who end up there feel so safe, comfortable and happy that they lose their motivation for hardcore-practicing SC2 with the goal of becoming the best.

It reminds me very much about Real Madrid (in football) about 10 years ago. They had loads of famous players but couldn't really perform on the European stage because most of them were past their prime.

About Naniwa, I don't have any problem with him. He seems to have a need for building up tension and drama in order to motivate himself to perform even better. I think there is a deliberate meaning to why he's "all talk...". He wants to hype himself a lot, so he has a goal to achieve which he has promised to the community.

Naniwa could be the Mohammad Ali of StarCraft 2 if he could start showing some results again.

Ok he just thrashed Thorzain do we really think he's going to EG? He said he's much better and mad that people call thorzain king of the north... He's disliked by several people on EG, EG has a pretty good sized roster and wants terrans.

I sincerely hope that this time he can bring a sense of professionalism with him to Korea and not embarrass the entire western community.
Eagerly awaiting Techies.

Comparing Naniwa's smack-talk with Ali's is like comparing a knock-knock joke to great stand-up comedy. Ali was charismatic, interesting and legitimately confident. I mean he's a smack-talk legend. But Naniwa? I don't think he has the personality for that.
