Naniwa getting to round of 8 twice in GSL, getting 2nd place in HSC 3, 2nd place in MLG providence and beating both Nestea and MVP when they were the best.

If Naniwa says he's getting serious about SC2 again I'm afraid Thorzain won't be as good as a motivated Naniwa

Thorzain might be the King in the North for winning Dreamhack in Sweden, but Naniwa can't hold the title of Kingslayer better in regards to who he beat in the past.
And you can add that Naniwa never had the same practice environment that Thorzain had anyway.

Naniwa is one of the few people that ever struck me as someone who enjoys playing a LOT of Starcraft2. That is why he is so good. He enjoys playing with the build orders and trying to get away with things, winning in different ways... also is why he is so good. Most pros you ask will admit they either hate the game or are just simply frustrated by it. Most of the people I know who tried to go semi-pro feel the same way.

One of the few foreigners I feel who has the ability to play top tier SC2... period.

I want to see the day when these top players from different teams bind together to become better. No one cares when it's foreigner vs foreigner. Lets see a united effort to match the Korean effort.

Oh, you mean when Flash was at the start of his career in sc2 and Naniwa won with proxy robo cheese? That was too circumstantial to tell you anything about Naniwa's skill, should I remind you that the more recent Flash dismantled protoss players such as Rain or Parting?

except posts results and less balance whining?

There's really not that much difference between the two in terms of overall achievements in Sc2.

And before you go on about current skill Idra actually did pretty well at WCS where as Naniwa hasn't done much of any note in a quite some time.

Naniwa won 2 MLGs, and has made it to 2 RO8's in code S.
Thorzain right now looks reallllly not good, especially after that embarrassing series against Killer.
I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

he hasn't won two MLGs. He won 1 MLG pre Koreans and an MLG special invite tournament.

And Naniwa hasn't looked any better recently as he hasn't really played in anything.

as graet as KESPA teams and players are i disagree...i think that it would be better if he didn't join KESPA

Liquid would be awesome but unlikely. Good luck to Nani wherever he goes tho. I will always be rooting for him
