I lost points for IMByul and IMRagnarok being in the lineup despite them not actually being in there. If you check the VOD not every IM player was in the line up. My anti team consisted of byul, first and and ragnarok and only first was in the line up. Is this supposed to happen?

Rank 5, I'll never be this high again.

Looks like my picking of 3 IM players has paid off quite nicely

To be fair it's not a terrible idea. If at worst your anti-team members only lose 1 point every other week that's fine.
But yes, players from a winning team will always earn 1 point. It would be too unfair to choose members from larger teams otherwise. And then there could be debates if some unknown is on the bench.

So it looks like first place is just someone that put down a lot of LG-IM players, as expected for day 1.

they had every player listed in the beginning. But in the end, I don't care, it's all good. I'm just sayin.

So i picked 6 IM players but squirtle wasn't one of them.
Damn,why do i suck so much

Hey guys,
There's something weird in the details concerning player values, perhaps someone could help me makes sense of this.
So from looking at the current players values, it seems that the basic trade value of a player is exactly 7 times his initial cost. For example, Life's current trade value is 9*7 = 63.
Now, a player's value is supposed to increase if he's doing well. For example, Squirtle's initial trade value was 7*5 = 35, but after winning 3 games today, his value increased to 47.53.
However, FxoTear (Hurricane) also won 2 points today (by appearing, winning one and losing one), so you'd expect his value to increase above his initial value (which also should have 7*5 = 35). However, his value right now seems have decreased, standing at 31.17.
Can someone explain this to me?

Values always decrease over time since a player has fewer chances to appear and earn points, even if they do well. Now he has 6 chances to appear, 6*5 = 30, but he's valued at 31.17 due to his performance.

Can someone explain this to me? The formulas are always the same:
TrVal = cost * (matches_left / matches_overall) + (points_scored / magic_number) AdjTrVal = TrVal * matches_left
The two constants for this season of GSTL appear to be:
matches_overall = 7 magic_number = 2.2
Thus for Squirtle as an example:
cost = 5 matches_left = 6 points_scored = 8 TrVal = 5 * (6 / 7) + (8 / 2.2) = ~7.92 AdjTrVal = ~7.92 * 6 = ~47.53
And for Tear:
cost = 5 matches_left = 6 points_scored = 2 TrVal = 5 * (6 / 7) + (2 / 2.2) = ~5.19 AdjTrVal = ~5.19 * 6 = ~31.17
And finally Life:
cost = 9 matches_left = 7 points_scored = 0 TrVal = 9 * (7 / 7) + (0 / 2.2) = 9 AdjTrVal = 9 * 7 = 63

I know that feeling... I'm *only* rank 9 overall but... Terran Users: 1/2239. Feels good, even though I know it's not gonna last xD

will there be a fantasy GSTL link next to liquibets like there is a FPL link?

For example, Hurricane, a player that costs 5 points is predicted to score 5*x points.(in this case since x = 2.2, 5*x = 11). If he scores more than 11 points by the end of the season, he has overperformed. By using previous rounds as reference, we've determined that for all-kill bo7 formats, the magic number is around 2.2 and for proleague style bo7 formats, that number is 3. If you can still follow this, then there are certain simple conclusions you can draw.
For example, it can be easily seen that the average 1 point player should earn ~3.5 points every round because even though he probably won't play, his team will, on average, win half of his games. This outscores the 3 magic number for the proleague format and way outscores the 2.2 magic number for the all-kill format. Thus, especially in all-kill formats, it can actually be a good idea to pick one-point players.
Also note that because all-kill style team league is so volatile, players usually won't get too close to their actual predicted score.

JKS is on my anti-team. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't he give me anti-team points? 0 right now.

+1 for appearance -1 for loss
So no. There's no way to get a negative score in fantasy GSTL.
