Polt is taking classes in the international department of UT Austin. He is focusing on English classes which gives him ample time to focus and further his SC2 career.

I expected Polt to have a personal sponsorship over a team because he has to balance his education with gaming currently, and joining a team brings baggage that would burden Polt greatly. Personal sponsorships allow him to play SC2 and travel, but doesn't restrict his options.

A majority of the current Korean progamers dropped out of high school or have not pursued post-secondary education in order to play the game full-time. Polt is an exception to the norm.
