Anyway, congrats to EG and Astro. We have seen recently more teams and companies folding and players getting not paid by various teams etc. You can see how much better run EG is as an organisation in comparison. They certainly pay their players unlike some former rivals, so because they treat their players well they get my support. Hopefully people can recognize that EG are a team that should be emulated within the scene regarding their professionalism. I have always been impressed with how well EG as a team always plug their sponsors. The players don't just say the usual thanks to my sponsors, they actually name-check them. If I was a sponsor, that is what I would want too. I don't understand why other teams have not also adopted this practice. I have a question about the graphics in the video. What software was used? Flash, illustrator, AE or something else? Just curious from a production/graphics point of view.

Because other teams post a one-liner on twitter when they get a new sponsor. And then wonder why it doesn't work out that well ~~... This is for sure worth a Headline, Video is awesome, its definitely community-related and stuff like this gets other companies with their money into the scene. I don't even know why only EG does stuff like this constantly, it establishes their brand and relates it strongly to the sponsor, so both sides benefit from it and the sponsor is highly interested in continuing the sponsorship cause the Team is already related to his own product/brand and it would be stupid to risk this high-value-advert with changing to another team. (And pls, don't say now it didn't work with SS, SS simply changed how they sponsor and who their sponsor, thats it). It's not a simple: "We have xyz as a new sponsor we hope, and know blablablablablablablablablabla" cause that is not how a long-term sponsorship works. Thats the way the sponsor gets close to zero attention and says "fuck off" when the contract ends, ask some of the money-wise-disbanded teams and their sponsors...oh, you don't know their sponsors? There you have it...

Funny how there have been little to no complaints about new sponsors for other teams in community headlines, but when it happens to be EG people start complaining. Poor attempt at taking a jab at EG. Try harder next time please.

Is it controversial to think they are better at making hype videos and productions made in order to give the sponsors exposure than playing sc? I'm not jabbing at anything, I'm merely pointing out a fact.

Say couple months ago if someone pointed out the fact that TL was getting carried by Taeja in IPTL you'd get a warning for team bashing or get called out by others. But hey I guess I'm not jabbing at anything, I'm merely pointing out a fact.

Heck, even TL themselves joked about it at the offline event.
