Yay! If they need a bigger studio it's because their flagship, GSL, is packed. I've noticed there often aren't many or any open seats. This is good.

... and with this ESPORTS returns to the south-east of Seoul where the peak of the sport in Korea began.

Other than that I love the Mokdong, this sounds like amazing news.

psy didnt like that people started forgetting about him, so he decided to initiate the second popularity wave, starting in the E-SPORTS scene as usual.
Can I post the youtube? Just for that single person that has lived under a rock and don't know what we are referring to? + Show Spoiler + Holy ***, 1.3B views! :o

Better quality and more games, this will be nice.

While it may be sad that GOMTV has basically just announced a LoL tournament, Gangnam is crazy expensive for space, so they must be doing really well financially on just starcraft, and that is good news for our Korean scene!

Why is that sad? Its a decent enough game. Its popular. Esports is Esports. Just because CBS shows baseball, doesnt mean it stops showing football. ukwim?
Theres only so many hours they can do SC2 in a day/week/month within their tournament setups. Theres open days they could be doing other games.
I never understand the hatred toward league, by this community. You should support ALL esports, and honestly, league of legends is going to be the "bannerman" of breaking esports into the regular household, I believe.

You're wrongfully assuming that everyone here cares about " esports " and wants to see it become something everyone watches, some people just like starcraft.

He doesn't like league, and he doesn't have to. I don't like it either, but that's it. The sadness is probably similar to how OGN only does proleague half their matches, instead of fulltime. I don't wish LoL to roll over and die, but I feel uncomfortable not knowing whether LoL is going to take priority in the long run.

I hope the secondary game they're implying new involvement in is DOTA, not Lolz.

While i don't get the LoL hate saying stuff like "You should support it for Esport" is such a annoying way to say it. I don't mind it but i aint gonne watch it to support it.

So I guess I will have to go for a hotel in Gangnam again.
I must say though that the Mokdong studio as part of a local highschool had a certain charme to it. Oh well.
Wonder if they'll keep Mokdong as well to have two studios at their disposal.

damn TRUEHD I guess mokdong didn't have the technology or bandwidth to do that before.

Good on GOMTV for picking up more e-sports.

Sorry, but you have to crazy to think that they'd pick up Dota over LoL. Neither or both maybe, but certainly not just Dota. LoL is much more massive in korea.
