SeoHyeon is still in school so I'm guessing this is going to be like the arrangement he had with LighT, especially since his skills have been declining recently without being able to practice much.

lol welcome to 2013. practically everyone smurfs on different accounts, and a lot of the lesser known players shared accounts with other players (seohyeon with other koreans) to let them play on the other servers before global play.

It's different when you're leveling up other peoples accounts for them, then using those same accounts to smurf in prize money tournaments.
I don't know what to think really, SeoHyeon has already shown he is a cheat (proven) and a liar (breaking his word to the community in the aftermath). However he is a decent player, so I hope he has changed his ways!

I actually don't think cheating is the right word for it. Oh, and LighT is already a damn legitimate team.

He colluded with someone else, giving them an advantage that the rules state is not allowed (having someone not in SEA playing in the tournament). It definitely was cheating.

And through that collusion, cheated people of money because of coaching offered based on the assumption that the owner of the original account is at said level when it is far from the truth

SeoHyeon played a big part in helping us acquire Center and HyuN he will also be helping us as a sort of player/liason/translator in Korea for our Korean Squad a sort of "bridge" for the management. I would also like to address the cheating regarding the SEA tournament incident, I believe it's been about a year and he has apologized, I'm all for second chances and look forward to working with SeoHyeon, he's already done so much for myself and Quantic! Welcome to the team!

It was June/July last year. After being caught people were asked not to follow up the cheating as "he does not want to damage vVv gaming's reputation and he will be retiring as soon as possible. He will be deactivating tweeter and ending his career". The community involved at the time gave him a free pass out of respect. Turns out he joined LighT shortly after that, basically giving the middle finger to those he conned out of money.
Anyway it's not a big deal anymore. I just really hope for Quantics sake he has cleaned himself up, which it sounds like he might have. Good luck anyway!
