Really don't understand STX's plan here. Bogus should beat Baby in the first match but I dunno about Arkanoid. And Classic has only played on Kespa maps so far but starts on two Blizz maps (vs Soulkey no less). IMHO, they should have switched spots. Classic vs Baby and Bogus vs Soulkey.
Looking forward to see EG-TL grabbing some wins. I am only a bit nervous about the ace round. So far, all EG-TL losses (except against KT) went to the final match.
The first 3 matches all have great starters. Whoever wins in these starter games will have a tremendous influence in setting the pace for the rest of the series, especially considering that many of these starters are essentially the teams' aces.
SK Telecom T1 now has a monstrous duo of Protsses in PartinG and Rain, who grabbed third place at the WCG Global Finals and a first place finish in the 2012 Auction All Kill OSL. PartinG, who will be eligible to participate in Proleague starting from Round 4 will allow SK Telecom T1 to potentially have a vantage point over any other team in their race for the top spot.
HerO could all kill Woongjin pretty handily on GSL maps (if he plays well) but he's getting Kespa maps only, lol. Still possible though. I don't think Woongjin has someone who is good enough to snipe him in any matchup. Soulkey has horrible, horrible ZvP. Flying is pretty good but HerO's PvP is better than his and sOs'. Haven't seen Light play yet but if HerO brings his december-PvT, he should win. If december-HerO shows up, he'll most likely all kill. I'm hoping for it at least!

Sadly no. Bumblebee said so in his Fan Club.

HerO as a starter is interesting, if he is confident and maybe feels less pressure so early in the series and plays his best he can easily take out anyone.
Well since JD is a starter it seems like a good time to trade revival for him, althogh he did really well. GJ Revival . Still sad that Taeja my captain can't show his dominance , get well soon Taeja!!!
Brr... I hope Terran and Protoss will figure something out for NeoCaldeum, currently not looking good for them (worse for the protoss), but there have been only a few games played on them yet. Though apparently enough games that the four teams with that starting map send out zergs.

Don´t be so confident. Remember WJS is at 1st spot atm, and is on fire with a 4-0 this round. If liquid wins it ill be already a good job. An all kill wil be a huge result for EGTL and Hero, but i believe it has a small chance.

I think in order for EG-TL to HerO needs to get 2 kills minimum but 3 should be better. If HerO goes out early it's gonna be really hard for EG-TL, especially without TaeJa. A HerO all-kill is I think one of the more likely win-scenario. He is just their most rounded player now and I like the choice of putting him out first. JaeDong could obviously take out someone in ZvZ and Stephano should be able to beat Protoos and Terran quite good but both are easily sniped.
This past weeks I came to a conclusion, it is funny but there is no best or better players in SPL. All players have 50% win probability as well as all players have 50% loss probability... to see KT loose 4-0 in two games made me mad. Does not make any sense at all, the games were just horrible.
However, it is really nice too see players which have almost 0 experience on SC2 getting all kill against KT. This show us that KT is that good... lol.
One side note. I still dont understand how can TL-EG have such a high value in FPL, they seem weak... well they are weak. Don't get me wrong, I like some players.. but overall I don't get it, they are just not at that level ok?
Soo... my guess, since there has been so much disapointment regarding this past weeks:
Woongjin Stars vs EG-Liquid - Woongjin Stars wins STX Soul vs Team 8 - Team 8 wins CJ Entus vs SK Telecom T1 - SK Telecom T1 wins KT Rolster vs Samsung Khan - KT Rolster wins Team 8 vs EG-Liquid - EG-Liquid wins STX Soul vs Woongjin Stars - Woongjin Stars wins Samsung Khan vs SK Telecom T1 - SK Telecom T1 wins KT Rolster vs CJ Entus - KT Rolster wins
Just my predictions, but since I saw Jangbi getting so many wins (don't get me wrong, I used to like him very much many years ago in BW).. I not sure of anything. This guy is on my anti due to his horrible performance and he still manages to win!
His games in sc2 are just poor. I think most of the time he wins because of people underperforming rather than he playing well. Then we see great players choking or doing stupid things.
Nevertheless... I WISH YOU ALL GOOD LUCK AND PLENTY OF GOOD GAMES! Let's hope we can see some good games... I am really crossing my fingers.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves : HerO, in the depths he shall remain, until he wins Dreamhack again !
Saying that a HerO all-kill is the most likely scenario is laughable considering they fail to win against both CJ and Khan, that's rather pathetic for a team like this.
I'm taking a big gamble on everything coming up Jaedong.. I've swapped him out of my antiteam (for which he's been doing amazingly ) and onto my actual team (in place of revival). Come on Jaedong! I believe!

I'm not optimistic for HerO, just pessimistic for the team as a whole....
IMO this has ruined the round for EG-TL (and those who have TaeJa as their FPL captain).
And HoeJJa was a total disappoinment when he was sent out once last round. Unless he practiced some kind of cheese, I don't see him beating RorO. I'm curious how herO[jOin] vs Rain will go. Usually you would say this will go in Rain's favor, but recently there is something missing in his play.
I really hate the all kill rounds during FPL, it is really hard to make a team that is reliable. Oh well, here's hoping SKT1 and EG-TL rise in the ranks.
Fuck. I should be happy all my FPL picks and trades are playing everywhere, but I can't make up my mind whether I should pick herO or Rain (trading away Hydra).
What do you think guys? herO or Rain? Who will win?!?!?!?!
I think I will stick with my double-Hero trade combo.

There should be a new rule, after the "don't put JangBi/RoRo on your anti-team", the : "dont pick a foreign team player as your captain". I had him as my captain too but at the last moment I had the spider sense and put sHy as captain instead.

Rain has really sick PvP. He knows where to get small advantages in order to get the optimal late game composition the fastest and he knows how to capitalize on advantages. That being said, his last 2 PvP loses have been him being overly greedy while trying to get these advantages and thus dying to all-ins.
Also, note that herO defeated Rain twice in the playoffs of Hybrid proleague.

I would keep Hydra. CJ has such a small team Hydra is guaranteed to play every week and he looks good right now. While both HerO and Rain while have been consistent have not looked like they are fully on top of their game.

Pewma of course. Well, might be JD or JYP in the match vs Stars. Should definitely be HerO in the other one unless he gets sent out earlier for whatever reason.

"one of the more likely win-scenario" means that among the scenarios in which EGTL wins, hero all kill is likely. That doesn't imply that EGTL winning is very likely

I think you mean this round and it's not the end of the world.
Finally the elusive Broejja makes an appearance in the KT lineup!! This definitely made my day. Also the Dong returning from the states makes this a week to look forward to.
