Team Axiom eSports appears to be set to send their talent to Korea on a more permanent basis, as earlier today Total Biscuit tweeted a picture of an intriguingly comical Korean restaurant near Axiom's "potential new team house." Axiom has at times had their players in a central location prior to this, but the current housing is much more makeshift than many of their foreigner and Korean team counterparts' team houses. The speculation was later confirmed on Reddit by Jenna Bain, owner of Axiom eSports and self proclaimed better half of Total Biscuit. A house is set to be "purchased" as soon as the 10th of January.

Totalbiscuit (@Totalbiscuit) tweeted at 1:14 PM on Thu, Jan 03, 2013:
This is down the street from Axioms potential new teamhouse. I have no idea what it is but I want to go there http://t.co/LoJI3cmL
(https://twitter.com/Totalbiscuit/status/286898329756000256)

Confirmed:
http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/15wo6n/axiom_set_to_possibly_start_team_house_in_korea/c7qjucq

Axiom eSports consists of players Crank, Ryung, and Miya, with major sponsors being Cynical Brit and Husky Starcraft. Fan favorite Crank was signed to Axiom after posting a very popular thread in r/starcraft expressing his desire to perform well for his fans in the coming months despite leaving SlayerS prior to the team's slow downfall. It remains to be seen whether or not Axiom will seek more players in the future. Axiom was rumored to be in talks with MMA two months ago before he eventually signed with Acer esports. A team house and previous desire for more players means there is promise for Axiom to add more players in the months.

Is this needed yet? I'll be the first to admit that I haven't followed everything Axiom has done, but they don't even have enough players for team-leagues.

It's not officially announced, so I'm hoping we get some details as to the goals and plans for Axiom, their players and what they hope to achieve (foreign tournaments and leagues, GSTL/GSL or eventually team leagues). Will the house be used for other visiting Korean players as well and who will monitor these players at the house and ensure things are going smoothly (beyond the initial setup).

Awesome stuff to see a house coming soon, I'm just being cautious with my worry that it might be too soon before establishing a proper team (whatever that number for a "team" is).

Well yeah they need a place to live that isn't super-cramped and not an optimal practice environment. That's our biggest concern at present. Expanding our roster is far lower down the priority list than giving the players a decent place to live and work.

Has Axiom gotten any other sponsors yet?

I'd hope you're at least in talks with some of the more recent free agents. Would be a shame for Axiom to not be able to get a piece of the large pool of skilled free agents before KeSPA, AZUBU, and other foreign teams sunk their teeth in them.

You've completely missed the point, the team house will be in Korea since Axiom was set up as a Korean based team.

Good luck with the project. I think it is very good that you guys concentrate on giving the players you already have an optimal environment before signing up new players.

Hope everything goes well.
