No. He was good in the last few tournaments, but he didn't win anything easily. And he wasn't good during the beginning of the year when compared to other Koreans. Top player of 2012, but not arguably the best player of 2012. Really confused about this move btw. He had to either hate being on ST, or he just made a big mistake due to a big head. ST was a really good thing for him. I have a feeling he might struggle from now on.
You perhaps don't remember it, but back in GSL S2 this year, Parting was looking really good. Like, too good. It took Mvp to beat him and Squirtle. That miniranking list down to the right was all "oh parting and squirtle!!" and people everywhere were going "this guy is good, guess he'll win something soon". But then came the whole zerg thing..

I guess EG is just appealing.
Hell, who wouldn't want a fat check and an organization that has no strict practice schedule, and that couldn't give 2 shits about if you win or lose as long as you wear their logo, make some tweets, and do a commercial or two.

Startale's Protoss Representative Parting left the team.
On the 3rd Startale released a press release stating Parting left the team after his contract came to an end and is pursuing to join a new team. In the latter half of 2012 Parting won BWC and WCG and showed great skill, but after talks with Coach Won on the midnight of December 3rd he made the decision to no longer stay with the team and Coach Won respected his decision and let him go in peace.
Coach Won of Startale had this to say to thisisgame: "I am very thankful to Parting for putting in a lot of effort during his time living side by side with Startale and wish him good results no matter what team he joins".
Paring who made the decision to leave Startale stated" Startale is a great team, but I want to experience much more things while I'm still young. I am very thankful toward Coach Won who put gave me so much attention".
Meanwhile Parting who is now teamless has not made a decision which team he will join, but looks to find a new team very soon.
Case in point. He wants to go Foreigner or at least a team that will send him where ever the heck he wants, hm! Alex?
The point is they buy people right after they become fan favorites. Huk, Thorzain, and Stephano. I really hope he doesn't go to EG.

More like when they've peaked; sure Alex is all about the marketability too but he does grab players who've pretty much peaked out.

Id like to see him on team 8. Him + Juan would make team 8 very interesting to watch in proleague.

Never been a fan. Think picking him up, would be an overpriced mistake.

I think he will be worth every won(korean currency) that he gets offered, much more so than any other Korean that joined a foreign team/scene (except Violet and MC of course).
