Startale's Protoss Representative Parting left the team.
On the 3rd Startale released a press release stating Parting left the team after his contract came to an end and is pursuing to join a new team. In the latter half of 2012 Parting won BWC and WCG and showed great skill, but after talks with Coach Won on the midnight of December 3rd he made the decision to no longer stay with the team and Coach Won respected his decision and let him go in peace.
Coach Won of Startale had this to say to thisisgame: "I am very thankful to Parting for putting in a lot of effort during his time living side by side with Startale and wish him good results no matter what team he joins".
Paring who made the decision to leave Startale stated" Startale is a great team, but I want to experience much more things while I'm still young. I am very thankful toward Coach Won who put gave me so much attention".
Meanwhile Parting who is now teamless has not made a decision on which team he will join, but looks to find a new team very soon.

Looking at their roster. I think they could use more. JD isn't ready to win any individuals yet and then who else do you really have? Stephano? I don't see Revival contending for a Championship either. Demu's been pretty solid recently but it remains to be seen if he can be consistent and keep up the work ethic.

Case in point. He wants to go Foreigner or at least a team that will send him where ever the heck he wants, hm! Alex?

No. He was good in the last few tournaments, but he didn't win anything easily. And he wasn't good during the beginning of the year when compared to other Koreans. Top player of 2012, but not arguably the best player of 2012.
Really confused about this move btw. He had to either hate being on ST, or he just made a big mistake due to a big head. ST was a really good thing for him. I have a feeling he might struggle from now on.

wow that's actualy really surprising...I wonder why he left? Good luck to him.

ohhhhh myyyyy god ((((((((
STX_Parting?
or Samsung-they both could use a good tosster

Hmmm... Well done EG, well done.

I think that interview pretty much says it all. He got approached by another team, probably foreign, that offered him a much better deal than what he had at ST. He talked to the coach and asked them to match it, coach said "sorry, no can do, but best of luck to you if you wish to leave", and Parting left for greener pastures.
In before he drops to Code B by Season 3.

Proleague for somethign something. Proleague carries a TON of weight with Koreans. No doubt he grew up watching that stuff on TV. Can't wait to see where he goes!

In before he drops to Code B by Season 3. He's too good to drop to Code B. It's not like his ST mates will stop practicing with him just because he left the team. He'll pretty much just be losing the coaching and the in-depth discussions on strats/builds with teammates, but even that's not for sure; ST's pretty lax, it seems, on letting people stay and practice with them (seeing as how Sase is teamless and still lives at the ST house).
Also, kind of off-topic, but ... anyone else remember the time when StarTale was actually known as like ... the most laid-back team in the Korean scene in terms of rigorous practice? (Players basically practiced when they wanted to.) I wonder how much of that's changed this past year.

has anyone considered the possibility that parting might join EG? o_o

If he joins EG, will it be as EGnitraP, The mysterious masked protoss?
