Redbull's investment in SC2 is miniscule compared to their involvement in many other sports. It's probably one of, if not the smallest investment they undertake. They have money, just PartinG as an individual probably isnt really on their payroll.

This is big news. I'm shocked. Best of luck to Parting and Startale .

I wouldn't mind Liquid'Parting and d.Parting. Some names are just too good ... Liquid'Sea was good for the short time he lasted.

Wow, no way Parting left Startale. I sense EG doings here.

Seeing as he left ST, doesn't that make him not part of the ESF anymore? He can just sign with a KeSPA team if he wants.

I guess it depends on if you can count that as a loophole to the agreement. if it's true there's a chance we might see an number of ESF players just leaving their teams so they can be picked up by Kespa I would be surprised if there wasn't some clause in the agreement to cover this. either that or kespa just doesnt care and doesnt need to be in agreement with ESF anymore

So he doesn't like RedBull anymore? Well it's Monster time. I like Monster, it's better and looks cooler than RedBull tho.

Maybe they can work something out if it's partings initiative or whatever. I think it's unlikely, but you can't rule it out 100%.

It's like promising not to poach players/coaches when they're under contract of an NFL team. Happens anyway, but it's really illegal.

Again, and I mentioned this before, but that would be a truly stupid agreement on eSF's part, then. All KeSPA would have to do is make an unofficial offer, have him leave his team, then just buy him up. (This has happened before already, though obviously not with KeSPA teams, with Puma and aLive, so if they didn't proof the contract against this, it's just a dumb move on their part.)

Clearly it's going to be Axiom

My guess is that maybe he's looking to get his hands on a "foreigner salary" like so many Koreans have been. 2012 has seen quite a few Koreans leave well-established teams to try to hop onto a foreigner team. That's where I expect Parting will be trying to get to.
To speculate... I doubt EG want another Korean in their roster, especially after so many recent pick ups. Liquid doesn't really take "superstars." I think it will most likely be Axiom or Acer. Probably Axiom.

I responded to someone who said he might go to a Kespa team, and you're quoting me about him possibly going to EGTL why? Yes, obviously EG or TL could buy him, since they're not Kespa teams, so?

I think in business, this kind of things happen sometimes. New company needs the employee to quit his old job first, only then they can sign the contract. But this is usually a huge risk for employee, some people will not be willing to take.

There were some former SlayerS players who moved to KeSPA teams right after the dissolution (Dark for an example), so there is no real issue with PartinG moving to a KeSPA team.
