For all we know they may officially be "coaches" like Boxer is, or something similar...There were some former SlayerS players who moved to KeSPA teams right after the dissolution (Dark for an example), so there is no real issue with PartinG moving to a KeSPA team.

I'd love to see him on TL but he isn't exactly a "fresh talent". I mean sure, it could still happen but I don't think it's as likely. I personally don't want to see him on EG. I don't know why, I just don't want to... I have no clue where he'll go. Maybe a Kespa team, maybe another ESF team, maybe a foreign team, we'll see! PartinG fighting!!! EDIT: I only just realized how fitting the picture in the first post is... ;;

I think a lot of the agreement has less to do with player skill differential and more to do with money. The KeSPA teams are better off than most of the ESF teams money-wise due to strong corporate sponsorships, so the agreement is in place to protect ESF teams from having their players poached by KeSPA teams. We wouldn't want SKT1 or KT going all EG on a poorer team like Prime.

Sometimes I wonder if this really is the best choice. Sure he may not get a salary, or maybe not a good one... but look at what the team house environment got him. Perhaps he can find an equally good training house with a better salary, but that doesn't seem too likely.

Hm, you're right, but it's possible that SlayerS's situation allowed the "transfer." (And yes, SlayerS was included in the trade-lock despite not being eSF.) Also: This agreement prohibits KeSPA-affiliated teams to acquire players from eSports Federation (including SlayerS) until October 2013. Players affected by this agreement will be 25 players per each team's roster, and the Federation will periodically report 25 players in their roster to KeSPA. As per agreement, transfers will be possible regardless of the roster after October of next year. Any GSL players not included in the 25-player roster from the Federation as well as players qualified in the KeSPA-hosted amateur tournament (formerly known as the Courage Match) will be able to join KeSPA teams during its draft period. I mean, it's possible that some of the SlayerS players weren't on the roster SlayerS reported. Dark's first reported game was in August, so it's not unlikely that he was a new pickup at the time.

Slayers was never part of ESF, and the team had disbanded anyway, so it's a completely different situation.
