Nah, he'll probably find a team pretty easily. I mean, if Azubu is in talks with TOP and Inca, then I see no reason why they wouldn't want to talk to Polt who is the best free agent. He just didn't start negotiating with any teams because it wouldn't have been right to TSL. Basically did the opposite of what aLive did.

I heard Polt will make his team decision on the 30th when he arrives in America. The source also said a lot of foreign teams were looking for him, but he favors Liquid, Azubu and EG with a preference for Liquid. Reminder this source is completely uncertain and probably unreliable. Also, apparently Polt told TSL about two months before about his decision (also from the uncertain source).

I'm more sad because Polt is likely dropping GSL for this, when he looked confident and said he was playing his best recently. We likely won't see Polt in HotS GSL I think.

speaking of which, both axiom and azubu are going to be GSTL teams next year right? i expect NSH to stay in, and fnatic to drop out though. still, net +1 team is cool.

Polt last time he was a free agent was coming off a title win and a GSL Ro4, but he wasn't as popular as he is now. He really marketed himself well in 2012 by speaking English in interviews, streaming, and becoming one of the more popular Koreans. He should be getting bigger offers this time around from foreign teams.

I don't see Axiom as a contender. They want to have a GSTL team and with so little players, all five or six would need to be living in Korea. With Polt staying in the US for 2013, that is impossible. TB also said he wants another sponsor before adding on.

Azubu, Liquid or even EG would be perfect. Can live in US, get flown to any tournament he wants, and go to Korea if he wants to. Fnatic could also do the same, but their team is not in the best place at the moment, and Oz along with Alive kinda have done a nose dive in the past six months.
