you would prefer if he potentially infects all the other progamers? HSC is a super tight environment where diseases can spread fast.
Playing an online tournament is not comparable with an intercontinental flight.

I guess you've never actually been on a plane before. Otherwise you wouldn't have said that...
Disappointing that MajOr isnt going, he was one of the bigger reasons I was gonna tune into HSC... ;|

or he flies frequently enough that it's absolutely no big deal to him anymore. for some (usually businessmen) taking a flight is a complete non-issue. look at it from a different perspective.

Well, he's streaming now, so it might have been worth to fly, if that really was the reason.

There are no different perspectives. If you are sick. Your body CANNOT equalize air pressure.

People need to know this but airlines won't let someone in the plane if they're sick.
One sick person in the plane means that everyone and anyone can be potentially sick as well.
Hope MajOr feels better.

Wow really, maybe you should tell korean progamers how to deal with /touringflying for tournaments since they get burned out just by touring around? They even mention this in their interview/s.

For the people talking about him playing in some online tournament. The real reason for him not coming due to being sick, is probably that he would be denied acess to the plane, as some people already said, airlines don't take people in who got a fever. I'm sure he would love to attend, I mean, free plane ticket to an awesome event he qualified for?

Somebody go check his account, im sure hes still playign 24/7.
All practice and no tournaments to actually win anything? pointless career is pointless.
You're ignorant and you shouldn't post in topics where you don't read the OP. He had paid flight and board, there's literally no reason to not go unless you can't make the flight due to illness.
To the people saying he's laddering and playing an online tourney...that's not getting on an airplane and travelling from Mexico to Germany with a fever lol. I came back to the US from Germany with food poisoning, it was one of the worst experiences of my life, if I had to compete in a tourney after that? And have people judge my performance based on that? Get a grip.

Why shouldn't Kane, second place in the NA HSC qualifier, get the spot instead? Why give a qualifier spot to an invitee ?
