If this is true then that's a very sad loss. Modesty will be missed.

Kind of expected. Without muta micro, I'm sure SC2 is a very empty game to Modesty.

It's too be expected that some people just doesn't fall in love with the game or that they're simply tired of the progamer life and that new people will come in to replace them.

That said, I too will miss Modesty.

I was going to say that I wouldn't mind if Bisu game to destroy everyone in the SSL, but with the SSL shutting down... Argh sad times. Time to go watch an old Starleague on Youtube.

Didn't he resign his contract with SKT a few months ago? I don't think he's going anywhere soon.

I heard that a LOT of them switched to LoL. Don't remember where I heard that though so I may be completely wrong.

Not possible, those players are old already, progaming will have to stop at some point. It is not ideal to switch to another game. They need to find a real job, or coaching job, get married, have kids.

Flash is known for his talent, strategic insight, and hard work.

Bisu is known for having insanely good multi task and hard work.

However, they also have 1 whole game to absorb and another looming on the horizon.....

From what I saw/read I always thought they both practiced ridiculous amounts of hours into BW. Maybe Bisu is just gonna take awhile...and another paid vacation or something. Idk, I always thought sc2 protoss didn't suit him.

like he said in an interview, he doesn't think protoss fits him much but fans see him as a protoss icon so he can't easily switch

I think it would be silly to stop now for those who have started to settle in SC2, because HOTS is right around the corner, so the races will all change again.
Even if Protoss doesn't suit Bisu at the moment, HotS protoss won't be the same as WoL protoss, so it's only 3 or so months of it until change again.
HOLY CHECK!

The reason why they left is not clear though. Did they leave to find a new team, or retire, or switch game?

That's too bad. I'd love to see him as T in sc2. Would make sense, well apart from being a protoss icon ^^

He's not ready to get fielded. I say give it time; give it HotS. Not everyone catches on fast and you know what? There are a lot of KeSPA players out there who aren't really catching on quick at all. It's just painful watching PL sometimes. They all could use a fresh start with HotS.

I think SC2 design doesn't suit Bisu actually.

He is known for his insane multitasking, but the game severely diminished the need to multitask. Probes can't really kill drones and SCVs anymore, very little multitasking is needed during battles, especially the big ones, and the most saddening thing in SC2 is that quantity beats quality. If Bisu could use 4 dragoons to clear out a mine field outside his natural while microing against vultures and tanks, he just can't micro Stalkers against Marauders because of that slow bullshit. He can't micro vs fungal, no amount of microing can help vs roach spamming.

If in BW battles could be decided by who microed better, in SC2 battles are decided by who was able to deny the opponent's micro faster, or most commonly, who has the bigger army.

If they remove anti-micro spells and add the BW high ground advantage and BW-esque maps, I think Bisu can rise again.

I think you all Bisu Fans should realize SC2 Protoss will never have the same dynamics of BW Protoss in doenst fit his style anymore, he is playing Protoss just for the fans. i think is time for Bisu to switch to Terran.

Bisu is an instinct-type player (polar opposite of Fantasy imo), he was known to free-style and still win/dominate before going to SKT (where more planning was put into his play via coaching staff). That's why SC2 isn't good for him because he hasn't developed a good instinct for the game yet. He even says in an interview that the reason why he doesn't do well in SC2 is because he hasn't developed a feel for the game (terms of unit relations, timings, etc) whereas in BW he would know how a battle would pan out before it even started.

He was also known for insanly smooth finger management on keyboard and mouse, even in progamer relations, that allows him his multitasking action and amazing micro.

His multitasking in SC2 is below average relative to other Kespa players. That's the weird thing.
