That's kind of irrelevant because each event is separate. No one says look at what so and so did to qualify for MLG, IPL, GSL and then use those qualifiers as proof of how hard the main event is. They're each separate events on their own and their toughness are judged individually. I like parting, but the fact is WCS KR was harder to win than WCS finals and he had an easy road to win 100k. I would have said the same for whoever won too, not just because it was parting.
The prize pool was the biggest of the year, but it was also one of the easiest tournaments of the year and no one can really dispute that based on the player pool. It just had far too many foreigners for it to be considered one of the harder tournaments of the year. Of course, that was its purpose since it was a world tournament, but then that also makes it one of the easier tournaments of the year with so few koreans in it relative to the rest.

Maybe he should pay attention more to the foreign scene because that's the exact same way I've been holding off sentry immortal all ins forever now. Maybe you could watch Chanman's Pro Corner from several months back and see literally THE EXACT SAME BUILD. Don't downplay your opponent's strategy just because you've never seen it before. I scout that it's a robo sentry immortal all in and make spines. I don't blindly make spines.

I think some of Parting's message got lost in translation, and it came off as more arrogant and serious than he intended. Still, if you brag about how your Immortal push is unstoppable and do it every PvZ, eventually people won't have to scout you and can still prepare for it.

I don't think he was being a gigantic asshole, I think he was just being a cocky jackass, like oh how offensive this ant is trying to beat me. I think it was said in jest.

I'm pretty sure Parting meant that he pride was hurt because someone stop his soul build.
What a dumb statement about Suppy blindly building spines... everybody knows he does this allin, he bragged about it himself. He also said he was curious how it could be stopped, but then complains when suppy counters it lol. Parting doesn't even know that Suppy does this since forever against immortals sentry... argh this really annoys me.

Not sure, but my guess is that they let you keep the smaller trophy(the one that parting is holding) and the huge trophy changes every time a new wcs champion is crowned.
