I'm referring to the crowd, he said in the interview he missed his opportunity to say something in Chinese to the crowd.

He would have been seen as the only chinese player left in the tournament and got a huge morale boost from the Chinese crowd.

Q: What changes are you thinking about making to the game?
A: We wanted to start off this next patch with some groundbreaking changes and real paradigm shifts in gameplay. Players on battlenet were complaining about destructible rocks just kind of "getting in the way" and so we decided to add competitive components around them. Now on all maps, every third base has destructible rocks and the rock is a unit controlled by your opponent. It has a twenty-second duration of an ability called "hardened-rocks" that is castable and will double it's armor. Players can now strategically use this ability which is on a 45 second cooldown to delay their opponent's third base from the safety of their own.

It also has an ability the starts on a 5 minute cooldown. If it's not destroys within that time, the rocks enlarge, and permanently gain 50% more hp and armor. Every 5 minutes, of course.

lol the new meta becomes take a hidden third base every game overnight. would be epic for about a day or two

yes, we did

we've tried to upload the browder interview 4 times so far. the first two times, the upload died for no apparent reason. the third try, we ran out of time as the venue was shutting down. the fourth time, it seemed to go through but was corrupted. hotel checkout is in an hour or so but we'll try to find a pc room we can upload from before our flights leave. worst case, we have to wait for monk. to get back to HQ with the memory cards.
