I love starcraft but i wasn't really into the WoL playstyle. I still watched every major tournament and followed the scene but quit playing myself after season 3. I didn't like the counter unit style and the general strategy/gameplay at a basic design level. Will HoTS change the game that much? SC2 in today's state is pretty sad watching PvZ and seeing 2 viable strats, immortal allin, or turtle mothership/broodlord/infestor. Just sad gameplay really.. | ||

If I order through teamliquid I get a beta-key? How does that work? You order it through our Amazon link and you get a beta key from Amazon. | ||

Yeah, I'm feeling similar. However, I know that I will get at least $40 out of the game out before the meta-game stabilizes into something boring, should that happen in HoTS too. | ||

Also, is it even possible to buy from Czech Republic? The page states " This item is also available for shipping to select countries outside the U.S.", but fails to mention, which ones? Where do you find the shipping fee? Excuse my ignorance, I have never bought anything from Amazon - nevertheless, for a first time buyer, the page considerably lacks information. | ||

Yes you need the key in the box to activate the game, so you can't play before you have the key. Pre-orders usually arrive on the day of release (and often even a day or two earlier) so you most likely wont have to wait longer than someone buying digitally. | ||

Also to the people saying that's not full-price, I disagree. Full price isn't always 60 dollars, 60 dollars is for the most popular games. There's many full-price games at less than 40. Also about the "that's like watching movies twice" argument, come on now. We're supposed to compare games to games, otherwise you could justify buying every game in the entire world. It's too bad Blizzard hasn't yet found a way to utilize free-to-play in their games... | ||
