Also, to those who are saying he's a quitter and thinks he won't fair well in dota 2: 1) His statement was HONEST. He FEELS that his age is making him less competitive. I would feel that way too, to be honest, simply because the younger generation have been playing these kinds of fast finger games since they were 12. I don't think SeleCT was saying that he COULDN'T EVER compete with them (evidence: NASL), but he was just saying that he knows the sheer amount and TYPE of practice required was NOT what he wants for his life and pro-gaming career. 2) Dota is a COMPLETELY different game and functionally tests a different part of the brain than SC2. RTS games are all about multi-tasking. Dota and "MOBA" or "ARTS" games are about micro-ing. RTS also has micro, but, as we've seen, the most consistent and best players are those who can multi-task well. Because SeleCT has incredible micro (but not the best multi-tasking/macro while micro), I think he'll be great at Dota. 3) Just because he has difficulty maintaining a good practice schedule for SC2 does not mean he will also have a difficult time doing a strong practice schedule with Dota. Again, because it works different muscles, perhaps Dota is less taxing for him to practice. I know for me, this is personally true--it is FAR easier for me to play 10 games of Dota than 10 games of SC2. The games are really different, and to me, it makes sense. Anyway, seriously... anyone know anything about his NASL stuff?

Thanks for the memories Select. I became forever your fan in that amazing loser's bracket run, when I had an exam the following day but just kept on watching you demolish people one after another with your amazing micro. Best of luck in DOTA 2 (a game I equally enjoy!).
