We need some new blood ![]() Yeah its scaring me too, 4 of 6 of those guys have arguments to retire too. Still, I always loved to see you play HayprO and your sense of humor was great, my favorite memory of you was that interview you did with Hotbid and then you took it over, good times. ^^

So many foreigner pro's have so much to complain about in sc2 so I think many of them don't really like sc2 as a game and find it fun to play, it's more the competition and getting sent around the world to play tournaments and party with your friends that is fun. They just don't have the same spark like in BW or WC3 you know? And when most of them have no real shot to actually claim a ~top8 spot in major tournaments as long as there is 8 koreans there my guess is that many of them have starting to think about what they are gonna do next in life. And with the influx of KeSPA progamers their chances are even smaller to actually achieve anything because of the inferior infrastructure and skill in the foreign scene. Also thinking about what a mess HotS will be for some time after retail with balance patching and metagame shifting left and right, how stoked would you be to go thru all that shit again? Or maybe I'm just overthinking the whole thing. :D I think you may be overthinking somewhat. Or maybe underthinking to be honest. The European seen is looking stronger than ever in every conceivable way, and HotS will bring renewed interest to starcraft which is great for the competitive seen. What you say is accurate, but there's another side to the coin. However, I think we will see a bit of a changing of the guard as former BW and WC3 pros start to retire in the next year or two, to be replaced by new blood, especially once HoTS comes out. But that changing of the guard is just the same as any other sport, the difference is it's more meaningful to e-sports because they haven't been around as long. Edit: Oh, and sorry to see you retire Haypro. You were an integral part of liquid and they won't be the same without you.
