The article basically states that the NSH roster took a major hit and that they are on the road to reforming and restarting. For those of you who do not know, here are the major events that have occured:
Shuttle left NSH and then joined Team Legion. (Which was so good for us huehuehue)
Sting left NSH
Freaky had to quit SC2 for medical reasons. THIS was the biggest revelation from this article. Up till now, no one knew why Freaky quit SC2 all of a sudden. Xeris stated in that previous thread up there that I linked that Freaky quit. But no one knew the underlying source. This article explains that Freaky was hospitalized for treatment, and that his condition was so bad that it had the potential to end his career. NSH had no choice but to let him go so that he could get treated.
Flower left NSH
Fairy left NSH
So in the end, here was the end result of NSH's roster:
So the article explains that NSH lost so many players that they decided for the first time ever, to hold auditions so they they could recruit new players. The article also states that NSH will be using GSTL and GSL to test out these new players (including Brave and SalvatioN) so that they can become good well known players. Basically, for the time being, don't expect NSH to dominate anything. They are on a recovery stage.
That really is a huge change in their roster, hopefully they will be able to bounce back with these recruits that they are supposed to be getting. Sad to hear about Freaky, will miss his heavy infestor play.
Sad to hear about Freaky, hope his treatment works and that he gets healthy again.
Oh, and if I were a wealthy, independent player, I would so set up something with New Star. Not that many of those exist, but would be pretty fantastic. Not sure why I have such a soft spot for the team, perhaps it is the underdog factor (though I did not feel that way necessarily about Zenex). Or perhaps it is that I adore Jjakji.
Either way, hope they can find some promising talent and do what they do, which is to take unknowns and make them into GSL players. <3
At least NSHS is recovering, not looking to completely disband like oGs. Hopefully they don't lose jjakji or Sculp. This situation reminds me of what situation TSL was in a few months ago: One really good Terran, and a random assortment of players who really had no showings. Once they sent Polt to a few international tournaments and their "random assortment" started to show their colors, they looked a lot better. Hoping for a similar situation for NSHS.
NSHS honestly produces so many amazing players. I hate to say it, but it almost feels like they are a farm team. Which is caused by the players outgrowing their team too quickly. Hope they come back around strong!

Another ZeNEX/TSL? T-T...
TSL isn't really a farm team anymore, as of the aLive stuff.

I think Fnatic would love to assimilate NSHS. It would give them the extra man power they need.
They already have 3 strong players for all three races who can score multiple kills, but they sorely need players who can take just one or two kills off to turn the tide.
Sorry but Rain, Byul and NightEnd just aren't those players... well maybe Rain because of his amazing ability to all in.

Are You sure it wasnt "PLEASE SEND FOOD, WE WONT SLEEP ANYMORE JUST PLAY SC2". Here you have an explanation why koreans dominate sc2, their motivation is on another level.
As long as they have jjakji, they've got a shot at surviving. The marketability of GSL winner is important. Hell, they didn't even lose their team league monsters like Sculp and Seal. They're perfectly fine
It should be noted that Seal is rumoured not to be practising/to have lost his passion. The source for this rumour, however, was a post by the same Western Wolves manager that was shooshed just a few pages ago for "nonchalantly" dropping his hint that jjakji might also be leaving. (Not exactly the kind of behaviour that drives me to think he's reliable.)

They're trying not to die and recruiting new players, which is arguably a reinforcing process. You don't accuse doctors to be killing you when they start a therapy, do you?
I hope they recover. There's one thing I am thinking about right now. If the sponsor is not rich enough to pay for players in cash, they can still pay in the form of education after the players retire, no? It's a technical college after all.

I got the hint that NSH and WW would have a partnership though? Tidus has also hinted that SortOf might stay at the NSH house.
Well at least they arent disbanding which is good. I like them a lot. Too bad so many people left. Good luck to NSH on finding new players. Hope to see you strong again soon!
Sad to see yet another korean team in great trouble. I really hope that HotS will be a greater success in Korea than WoL with BW still running. So much wasted talent :/

Oh, my bad for being a knee-jerk cynic, then. I still can't say that I like team personas entertaining themselves with this kind of teasing, though.
Sad to hear about Freaky TT such an entertaining and skilled player. I remember a game on MC´s stream, MC played vs Freaky and lost. Freaky literally splitted the WHOLE map with spores and spines (entombed valley) and contained further and further while harassing with infested terrans and bane drops, mc´s army felt apart, slowly but surely, was awesome to watch.
