I don't really understand this show. It's pretty much some guy making dinner for his parents while an sc2 player stares at his webcam looking bored out of his mind.
|
Haha, Starcraft and food? Man, only thing better would be dinosaurs, but i look forward to this show.

It's actually supposed to be me and the pro sc2 player talking a bunch and me attempting to teach him how to cook something. Puck wasn't able to setup his camera and was very tired but it was still pretty fun to do.

There has to be some graphics nerd in the community willing to make you some sexy cooking overlays too.

Hope you have fun cooking with Kevin, Sam! Will definitely be tuning in

ah I see, cooking = devising strategies. damn it, it would be absolutely insane to see progamers taking time out of their busy schedule to do something non-starcraft related.

Should be fun to watch. Interesting concept!

really great show! Can't wait untill the next one. Good Night

haha all the cooking pics are of women - - (of course all the top chefs are men though)..jokes
|
Get some EU players on, You and Appolo cooking would be amazing, or you and Grubbers.
|
I'd love to see you get EGidra on this show, though that might be too much to hope for.
I nominate EGiNcontrol then! Afterall, he's getting married soon - teach him a sweet recipe to make for Anna.

For next week get CatZ and do some peruvian dishes!

I am amazing with the camera, just saying.

This is rather ugly one. Especially since I have no taste for graphic design. But it should be a challenge for somebody else on TL.
Sam applying an overlay is easy. Just add it to xsplit scene and then put it all the way to the top. The windows are based upon 1920x1080 screenshot, so you should not have to move your camera regions at all. (use the PNG with transparency. Not the jpg.)
|
Oh god i missed it, cant wait for the vods!

About halfway through the vod and I can't stop laughing, this is both educational and hilarious at the same time. I need to tune in live next week and I can't wait to see what guest you get next.
|
Aiur Chef would be a hilarious way to end the show.
|
|
My PSD import does not work 100%, but I got. Looks rather nice.
|
Finished the episode now ^-^
I really liked seeing the different styles of plating and was amused by how the great peach fiasco turned out ( who the hell doesn't have sugar in the house?). I'm kinda torn between wanting to see lots of guests week by week and wanting you to stay with one group and turn them into competant cooks. Are we going to get holiday themed shows because I only have the dullest memories of being taught to cook a traditional style thanksgiving dinner and that could be really interesting to see.

I'll be having a vote for next guest coming up very soon! It's possible to get that group on again its funny you are asking about the holiday episode because my dad just asked the same exact thing! Last Christmas I made a galantine roasted turkey and a Orange glazed ham. I could Def do it on stream but its incredibly complicated to galantine anything.

Did anyone get a funny screen shot this time? Haha I'd love to put up more funny pics in the future

It is certainly nicer. Sam may need a bit of direction to set it up, since its not simple transparent window. But its much more pleasant that mine. :D

My attempt at an overlay for the show:
Basic cam slots, recipe slot to type in what your doing each episode (insert title in xSplit), social medias.
Also, .PSD File.

Violet should be easier. He also does like meat and burgers. So it could be all-american edition :D

I actually made some ricotta stuffed rigatoni with a home made meat sauce. It was basically like a bunch of tiny lasagnas and it was AWESOME!

I wonder if Destiny would help him out, the guy has constant 3k+ viewers. Or even like Idra, everyone would watch that.

Keep up the good work, Sam!

Hi Sam! Great show, laughed quite a lot & got inspired to willingly eat asparagus sometime.
I think that for next week's show, something that could highlight basic knife skills would be good for most viewers to learn. You'll of course know more about what kind of dishes would require a variety of knife skills, but something that requires chopping, paring, & slicing would probably help, along with basic tips on how to care for knives. Knife skills are so helpful but most people don't really think about it. Something with a simple mirepoix like a pasta with sauce would probably be good for this but then again I'm not a trained chef
Definitely looking forward to more though! Keep it up.

wow... very cool show. please keep making.
I wanna see IdrA battle with a very difficult food opponent. Hoping for an early GG.
|
I would love to see the whole EG crew cooking on the show.
For a simple dish you could make fried rice. For a hilarious dish you could make them try to cook beef wellington.
|
Great show idea, I'm looking forward to more episodes .

A small suggestion for the next cooking recipe.
Considering that the community is so heavily invested into Asian cultures with Korea being so prominent in our scene, perhaps you should try a classic Asian dish.

I might be able to do a good stir fry I could also go over how to make home made teriyaki sauce
