How ungrateful. Yeah it's kind of unsettling

I think the main active ingridient is the same? Although Red Bull and Hot6iX is the better comparison. Bacchus, while containing the main active ingridient wasn't really marketed as a ENERGY drink. Red Bull, Hot6iX are.

What I'm saying is that no one on their right mind can say RedBull and Bacchus taste even somehow alike, let alone the same. Im glad theyre back to sponsoring GSL again. No, it's not thick at all. It flows like any drink out there would. As for the taste... yea it's not for everybody.

He said not in taste but in notoriety (Bacchus is more popular than Hot6 and Red Bull is probably more popular than 5 Hr energy)

You're not really missing anything special. Even thought Hot6iX is only sold in Korea, if you've had a Red Bull, you've had a Bacchus/Hot6iX. So, if I've had a RedBull, I've had a Bacchus, since they are quite similar in... notoriety? I don't follow this logic.

Yeah, Bacchus is not carbonated for one and has more of a herbal bitter aftertaste than Red Bull.

I don't follow this logic. How does that sentence not make sense? He wasnt comparing the taste, he was comparing their (Bacchus and Hot6) popularity to how popular Red Bull and 5 Hr energy are in America. It has nothing to do with the taste. Do you need me to dumb it down more? On September 01 2012 05:22 Condor Hero wrote: Pocari Sweat tastes like... Propel water but less sweet and citrus flavored with a different aftertaste. Over here we play this thing called soccer. It's the most popular sport. Oh, you live in US and don't know what it is? Well, you've played American Football, you've played soccer, since it's similar... notoriety wise. Hope I've illustrated well your logic, and notice why sane people would find it strange.

Definitely. Seeker thank you for doing this translation but your personal opinion on Hot6ix is better suited for Blogs, and not for a thread which is basically about Hot6ix being so nice to sponsor a lot of Gom stuff. Although is was kinda fun to read. Also agree with nokz88, i definitely understand that sentence like him.

Yes, soccer has the same notoriety in Brazil as Football has in America they are both the most popular sports....I dont see how this is faulty logic. I never said they were the same thing or even similar products, what I was saying is Red Bull is one of the most popular energy drinks in America, Bacchus is one of the most popular in Korea and thats how he was comparing them, not by taste. Five Hour energy isnt all that popular in America, Hot6 isnt all that popular in Korea and thats how he was comparing them, not by the taste. They are similar in notoriety in their respective areas, which is what OP was saying too. Neither of us were saying the taste is similar.
