We are very happy to announce that Axeltoss is joining ROOT as our official Caster!
Alex will be running our new Youtube channel as well as casting for ROOT Branded tournaments and events. Alex is a great fit to the team as he is a fantastic up and coming caster that deserves a lot more recognition, at ROOT we will try our best to help Axeltoss grow his own brand alongside with ours. Alex has experience casting big Live tournaments such as the GIGABYTE Lan and the very popular Lone Star Clash.

Upon first hearing whispers at the possibility of ROOT reforming a month or so ago, I couldn't help but feel excited. They are the one Starcraft 2 team that always had a chemistry unlike any other. They saw themselves as more than just teammates trying to win tournaments and top the ladder... they saw themselves as a group of friends; a family that never forgot the reason they were binded together in the first place. ROOT is a team that sure, cares about results and getting better, but also will never forget or ignore the aspect of fun and entertainment that the game provides, something that most people tend to forget. I'm truly excited to be a part of this mentality and look forward to, as a caster, bringing to the community the values and ideals of friendship, fun, and fierce competitiveness that this team exemplifies above all others. I also see this as a huge opportunity to improve myself as a caster, having the priviledge to interact with some of the greatest minds in the game, enabling me to enhance my ability and knowledge of Starcraft 2. I would like to thank Destiny for suggesting me and Catz for approaching me in regards to becoming ROOT, there is no place I would rather be. - Axeltoss

I really like Root's lineup. All of the people in it make it seem so much more of like a friendship and a community rather than like a bunch of nameless faces.
Though I'm a little concerned about getting all of these people + the DotA 2 team to events with Twitch as their only sponsor o.o
I just watched the video on their new channel of Catz and Axeltoss discussing a ZvP Catz played and I thought it was VERY good. Catz gave very good insight due to Axeltoss's perfect questions.
nice add, goot newz. I like that Root is building a team with multiple talents: casting, analysis, playing, coaching, talent scouting. They will have lots to offer to continue to build the SC2 community.
Ah, Axeltoss. I remember when he casted Destiny in some tournament long ago and he was shocked that he had like 600 people watching his stream. He's a great and dedicated caster, and I'm glad to see him join my favorite team.

I hate almost all of the small name casters that have been going around casting events.
I like Axeltoss quite a lot. He's not part of the group I mentioned earlier, he's quite good, especially considering that I am VERY critical of casters, but I really enjoyed what I've seen him cast of the TSL lately. And ROOT is awesome ofc. I'm happy with this :D.
