Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

Man, it is the same, I mean I feel that it is something wrong with the zerg, just look at my vision where I see nothing and an attack can come from all directions and I need to protect all my bases. Your answer is not sufficient. Feeling something is wrong does not correlate with using a nexus cannon. It just fundamentally does not make sense. If you were throwing down cannons because you thought an attack was coming, fine. If you were moving your troops into position because you thought an attack was coming, also fine. If you had used the nexus cannon and then moved the mothership core to the natural to defend all possible entrances, you're stretching it but that's plausible. However, there is literally no benefit to using a Nexus cannon blind and not moving the mothership core. The suspicious army movements to move into position to deflect the incoming attack coupled with the nexus cannon, in my eyes, is definitive proof of a hack. Moreover, the surplus of other instances of suspicious behavior push this beyond all doubt. It's shameful that the owner of a team resorts to this kind of behavior.

0 scout, blind counter, preemptive nexus cannons, preemptive warp ins and cameras at edge of fow when mutas appear AND blind army movement? really looks like somebody's been a real stinker.

That link is 4 hours long, so I'm gonna assume you're talking about that other replay with the Terran that pokes into the FoW over your base.
I think nothing special about it. You'd have a point if, let's say, you went to build a third and *right at this moment* he poked in FoW on your third. The FoW alone proves nothing, it's the timing of it that's important. Like when you move your camera behind your natural right a second before mutas appear.

Honestly i can see why people maphack on ladder. They maphack for the thrill ofcourse. Like that guy fnatictricky was having tons of fun when he was maphacking and i can understand that because really this game isnt fun. But that guy imbatoss competing and winning euro cups is pretty foul and disgusting. Thats pretty much like stealing money. Sadly i fear this thread and this cycle will never end. Blizzard will ban in waves and the hacking will keep coming back. I have a theory that they arent doing anything about maphacking because of that. They will let the hackers hack and when they get banned they will come back thats another 80-100$ in there pocket.

This conspiracy theory makes me laugh. Like a company like Blizzard, who's making a billion of revenue, would care about getting a few hundred more copies of the game every 6 months ? That's not even pocket money for them.
The real reason is probably because they'd have to assign many employees full-time to review replays regularly, and given the amount of false positives and people who report other people for hacking just because they lost a game and are raging.. they'd lose more money in salary costs than they'd lose due to people leaving the game in disgust due to hackers.

just knowing there are map hackers on the ladder makes me feel uncomfortable. besides a few blatant games where my opponent was blindly reacting to my movements, it makes me paranoid that my opponents could be cheating since there's a good chance that I will play one or two in a single day.

hello I am ChrisR, that is my ladder account. your rax position was very standard so of course if i drone scout i will check there, although I will admit that i don't drone scout every game so it was really lucky for me. but please believe me, i don't cheat...

thats gotta be one of the stupidest things I have ever hearrd, your automatically accusing him without even probably watching the replay or taking into the account the possibility of his actions being legit because the proxy was in a known location. english may not even be his first language either, he may not know a better way to tell everyone here he actually doesn't cheat.
just as well this thread has no effect on whether or not people get banned, otherwise I be worried someone who is actually legit might get banned.
