You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody. Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. | ||

"it's just an advantage" is a clear understatement. In the case of a long drawn macro game, where there are few surprises left in each player's arsenal, yes, maphacks don't help that much, but if his opponent decides on a proxy cheese, or an allin, it's insta win for the cheater. Now, a really good player can almost never lose if he has good mechanics, as there will ALWAYS be a point in the game where your opponent is weak and vulnerable to a timing attack, drop etc no matter how he hides it. I think people who cheat greadually lose in skill as they are acustomed to not scout, their multitask and apm drops as well, and in the end, when their hacks will be absolete or in a competition, they will lose. Still, on the ladder, i always enjoy seeing skilled player beat scumbag maphackers like here: | ||

Server: NA League: Masters (top 25[if that matters]) Description: This guy is not only a maphacker but incredibly bad, he accused me of being a maphacker from cannon rushing on Star Station because I knew where he spawned (lol). same maphacker as narutos another replay here its pretty obvious, no scout no observer fog peaking, reacts to drops before he sees them, also terrible player with high mmr :> also that line is hilarious : i cant just click a button and have instant map vision like terran | ||

I only had dts on the field, and before they went down my ramp to defend my expo, he retreated his 4 goons and 2 zealots, despite having a proxy pylon next to my natural nexus and having no reason to suspect dt. He also decided to scout cross positions on whirlwind, first. Since I 9 scouted on whirlwind (the only one that does that), given the time I scouted his base, there was no way to guess I would be far positions if going off scouting time. No one does that. | ||

I once went by the name FourLeafEX, an alternate account on battle.net. On this account, I did indeed maphack, for about 3-5 days at most, I almost instantly got caught, and never really got proved that I ever did anything, and people probably didn't have any solid evidence, but instead of being like the other assholes on this forum like StellarMango, I decided to come clean and admit it. After getting caught a second time by Priest(a guy of which I respect for what he does now, but the guy still swears to me that I maphack) I stopped. I now stream everytime I play since about late February since I built my computer, and hope that the community will be merciful. I apologize in full. I love starcraft, and the community it has. All feedback is welcome, if I get told to "eat shit" or insults of such nature, Bring it on. User was banned for this post. | ||
