You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody. Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. | ||

Server: NA League: Master, Rank 2 Replay 1: Dakkon vs Danny http://drop.sc/273322 What to look for: - 3:09 Danny starts a bunker in Dakkon natural. - 3:19 Dakkon with NO VISION, sends 2 drones to stop the bunker. - 5:25 Dakkon starts his third, no vision in the map, no overlords spoting gas or anything. - 6:20 Danny controls the xel naga tower, denying any map control from Dakkon, Dakkon with no overlords in the map for scouting and information. (And he also didn't scouted with an overlord, or overseer to look for Bio/Mech play). - 8:00 Dakkon makes 1 spore crawler in each base after he sees 2 hellions, but the point is that as said before no overlord, no poke with lings for information by Dakkon. - 10:22 After 4 minutes of pure dronning in the dark, the zerg player decides to get control of the xel naga tower. - 11:41 Dakkon finally makes his first scout in the game, doing a runby on the third of Danny. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Replay 2 Dakkon vs Filho http://drop.sc/273325 What to look for: - 11:00 Filho goes through the side to start the aggression - 11:29 Dakkon has no vision of Filho's army, and then randomly sends 12 roaches to Filho base and keeps the remaining roaches at the center of the map at the xel naga tower (?) - 12:52 Dakkon not even use the xel naga tower to control the map, simply forms a big concave exactly from the position that Filho is coming from and sets the rally point as it seems he knew it was coming from, because rallying there makes no sense. | ||

The big problem is that brazilian community has so low level of gaming understanding and DakkoN simply deceives most of the people from brazil by making fake analysis about the map hacking accusations and shit. | ||

I hate hackers as much as the rest of the community. The beauty of the game is the test of skill in an environment where you get incomplete information. I love seeing a gas or a techlab and just guessing... saccing an overlord from both sides, seeing nothing but a marauder before they're both killed and making a judgment call on that. I think its a frustrating and awesome element of RTS. Three DIFFERENT times today, just before the 'gg', my oponents have called me a hacker. One was after a decently long macro ZvT on daybreak, which I won with 3/3 ling/bling/infestor/ultra. The opponent, who played pretty well with the exception of letting me kill his dropships, said "The fact that you maphack and it still took you this long to beat me is f*cking pathetic" and left the game. I've watched the rep twice, once from his perspective, once from mine, and while I did get a lucky army positioning once in the mid-game... I don't see anything that could be contstrued as unfair awareness in the rest of the game. Long story short, I just don't understand why people tend to cry wolf so much. Is hacking really widespread enough that everyone wants to believe they can't lose a game unless the opponent cheats? I just wish people would say things like "gg" or even "how'd you know to make mutas?" or something, instead of insulting the other player with accusations of cheating. I'm not even top 8 diamond... I lose very, very frequently. Let me enjoy my wins.  | ||

I've periodically checked up on this thread to read all the stories, but it's actually very sad that Zwei has literally become overwhelmed by the sheer number of people who cheat. | ||

Pretty no time except 1 time during 2 month period 4-10 hours of playing have someone called me a maphacker. Only one who has done it so far is Logicc, ironic seeing as how he hacks and admits to it. Anyhow, just wanted to point out I have not noticed much of crying wolf on EU. | ||
