Ok Gom released their up/down schedule now and I see some conflicts arising for Polt/MC.

Both of them will be at mlg spring arena May 18-20.
Up/Down matches are May 21-25.
Red Bull Lan is May 25-27.

I don't think it's feasible for them to do their up/down matches and red bull, unless Gom moves some groups around and they don't mind dealing with massive jet lag. However, groups aren't out yet and if polt/mc are in diff up/down groups that would make it even harder to move groups around given the tight window they have to play their matches.

Now it all makes sense why MKP turned down spring arena and most likely redbull. There's a chance he could end up in up/down which conflicts with red bull.

It's too late for the red bull invite because I think it was leaked the last two invites are sheth and illusion. Naniwa said Day9 gave him 20 hours to decide on accepting his invite, so he turned it down. MKP was probably given a deadline too, so declined since his code s spot wasn't safe.

Polt/MC just need to hope they roll one of the first two days of Up/Down matches. Maybe Chae will be nice and move their two groups to May 21st and 22nd.

Maybe he could replace polt or mc! that would be smart actually, lets the other two play for code S

They can't play in the first day because they will be in NY for spring arena till May 20th. How long is a flight from NY to Korea, 12-15 hours? Plus korea time is ahead too, so it's not possible for them to fly out from NY sunday night and play in korea Monday. The earliest they can play is tuesday.

Heh, I like your thinking. MKP beats yugi-oh tonight, which clears his schedule for red bull. MC forfeits his red bull spot and MKP is his replacement, since MC replaced MKP for spring arena.

Considering the recent trouble between MLG and GOM, and the possible clash with Kespa, this could be the first of many 'time-to-try-to-screw-my-competition-by-selecting-bad-dates'. Lets hope not.

Sadly, that could end up happening. FXO boss tweeted this before leenock played alive.

Am I reading this correctly? Tickets are sold separately per day? What a scam. Was going to go, but not for 40 bucks(good seats)

Have you ever gone to one of the esports events? I went to the lone star clash a couple months ago, I think the tickets were like 12 bucks or something, I only went one day and after it was over alls I could think was "wow that was worth so much more" It really is exciting, of course, if you've never been to one it's hard to justify it, maybe just go the second day, thats what I did at the lone star clash, after it was over I'd wished that I had gone both days though.

Edit: I also went to the IPL4 in Vegas, I'm freaking hooked, I coupled a vacation from work to visit my fiance's parents, so we were in vegas for 7 days with the last 3 being at the IPL, was so much fun.

So with MLG Arena -> Up and Downs -> Battlegrounds, looks like Polt/MC will either have to give up the Arena or Red Bull. Maybe even both if they want a chance back into Code S. If they wanted to do all three, Chae would have to give them one of the middle days, but they'd both probably be jetlagged to hell.

I'm thinking about going the second day only. But honestly, the way they are doing it is kind of lame. Instead of saying, hey, 20, 30, whatever bucks for the weekend, they kind of get you to buy tickets in this roundabout way where you might not even notice it's only for one day. Just feels kind of scammy, and the best tickets would be 40 bucks for the two days, which I find a bit pricey.
