Update: Watched the recommended TvP game on Shakuras. The protoss had 131 apm and 99 eapm. You had 280apm and 160 eapm. It was a close back and forth game too. I have more apm/eapm than that protoss and I'm only dia wtf. Almost no protoss players I've ever seen have high apm except for HerO, Parting, and MC. Maybe that's why they're so good lol. | ||

Just look at the production tab when a toss is playing, it's almost always empty because of warpgates. And does warp-in and chronoboost count in the APM tab? I can't break ~120 eapm with Protoss but with Zerg and Terran I usually have around 160-170 eapm and then 300 apm. Thats why I don't like playing toss in sc2, warpgates makes it feel so slow. | ||

Yeah, you get punished for multitasking because your army is so much better clumped up, you can't attack two locations, and drops are rarely cost efficient, and of course the macro is light on APM. People need to blame the game and not the players for this, I'd multitask if it was worth it ^_^ | ||

Yup this is true. The fastest Protosses I've come across (MC and Huk) are around 330ish APM and it's usually substantially lower EAPM due to how much they spam. Conversely I've seen Terrans much higher with Zergs like DRG averaging 380-400. | ||

Basically they shape you at 500kb sec to fool download speeds in general browsers (Eg IE) to fool noobs in to thinking their download is actually working but what happens is after 500KB they get shaped to 5kb second or less but what actually happens for most people is the DL stops completely. Fortunately, it's possible to get small files (Eg 5MB) but anything more and you're fubarred. Rapidshare can go die in a blackhole. | ||

TvT mech based (Don't recommend for lower league players copying, timings are early and can lose game instantly if you do not know how to use the army effectively) TvZ hellion (sometimes banshee) into tank thor (susceptible to fast broodlords) TvP fe/bio play I recommend the game vs MC(might be genius) shakuras plateau. Terran should have lost but made a clutch decision to counter at a really nice time. | ||

I have some questions: Do you think the Protoss responded well to your build and/or overall gameplan? Do you think that was a "solid" replay to study from, or was that more of an example of you showing the rare Mech style winning a ladder game against a Protoss who isn't very used to playing against it? Is there a reason why your "hidden" third was safe? I noticed the player Gorapadong also tends to have a "hidden" third. Is it because if he dedicates enough units to go kill it, it means you will have openings to harass with Hellions? And if he doesn't dedicate enough then you can, in the worst case scenario, fly it to somewhere safer and waste some mining time? In the first big engagement at ~17:50, it seems if the protoss didn't back off he would have crushed your force. He still had 3 Immortals left and you had nearly naked tanks and no Ghosts to EMP. Do you agree? You remaxed on Thors and Hellions and stopped making Tanks. Was this in response to his composition or simply because Thors and Hellions build faster and work well in smaller numbers, especially since most of his reinforcements are probably Gateway units, which Thor/Hellion does well against? A few times throughout the game, you didn't have control of the towers or even a marine or hellion in front of your army to scout. Why not make a sensor tower earlier? What if he caught you off guard and you couldn't siege in time? (Like at 22:00 when he attacked your 10 o'clock base). He didn't do any Blink Stalker harass or drops. Would they have been good ideas? At about 12:00, you only had about 6 tanks and maybe 15 hellions. How would you defend a 2 base colossi push? Did you assume/hope one wasn't coming, or did you know somehow that it likely wouldn't happen? Could you even defend a 2 base Immortal push, if he had more army instead of teching so hard, with those marines, hellions, tanks, and only 1 bunker? If you can answer these questions, I feel like I will learn a good deal and if you do, I would be greatly appreicative ^^ | ||

How do you handle a quick zealot+some probes coming before the first bunker is up? I believe Im pretty close to the supply/timings of everything? Also if there's a ton of sentries and no way to attack up the ramp at should i just retreat get my gasses and go from there? Thank you | ||

To the best of his knowledge at the time of replay-naming he thought his opponent was someone else; what does it matter whether or not he was correct?
