Another Zerg versus Protoss, on daybreak for the first match. In the early game, the protoss player blocked the zerg main with a pylon, and the zerg player cleverly responded by hatching protosses natural, and cancelling it. That put the protoss way behind in my opinion. He tried to do a 5 gate push in order to punish the zerg for taking a fast third, but some very good defense from our swarm player (army splitting, cleverly using lings) destroyed the protoss force. After that, an attack with an small force of roaches and lings did much damage to the protoss army who was never really able to mass units. In that point of the game, the zerg did a flock of mutalisk, and the fleet did some heavy damages in the protoss economy. Seems like the son of aiur is in a tough spot, with supply being 114 vs 179. Edit : thanks from some really nice TL contributor, I think I can affirm that was the first match of the SlayersDark vs NSPElite series. | ||

Protoss is going for a forge fast expand, while pylon blocking the zerg natural. Dark takes a fast third, but the drone is scouted by a scouting probe of Elite. At 5:20, still no gaz for the Cerebrate while the son of Aiur took the two in the main. The worker count is fairly even at this point. Nothing special is happening, everything seems to be calm before the storm. | ||

Stream is back ! lagging but still ! 14 stalkers are attacking the third. Clutch defense from dark allows him to hold for now, while he tries a kind of surrond. Look like it's gonna be tough, but Dark still may hold it. As the situation get more and more critical, all the drones of the third were evacuated and the hatchery is about to fall. Protoss is mining from 4 gaz and stopped the probe production, Dark survives and get the infestation pit. Elite gets the robotic and templar archive up while retraiting to his natural. | ||

Finally, Dark rebuild his third. At this time, a blink stalker suicide squad attacks the main. However, due to what it seems is an error of protoss navigation instruments, some stalkers are trapped in the main and destroyed by the roaches. But does all this really matters ? At the time where I'm speaking, the army of Elite just attacked and destroyed the zerg force with some decent forcefield. As the Zerg troups were wipped out from the planet, the infestation cessed, taking us to a third round between the two layers. | ||

At the top SlayersDark, green Zerg. At the bottom NSPElite, red protoss. Both player go for fast expansion, and the protoss is unable to probe block the hatchery. Elite his precisely going for FFE. And then the stream dies. It's back now ! Nothing much has changed. Fast third hatchery for the swarm, probes and dronees. Elite seems to be taking his 4 gaz adding a robo to his single gateway, probably wanting to scout what was prepared for him in the infested land. However, Dark with his special agents of overlord sees it and is aware of the protosses plans. The protoss, with 6 sentries, is confident enough to build a third. He has approximately 6 gateways and he is looking strong, as he add the twillight council. The worker count is in Dark's favor, but not by a ton. By the way, I'm really sad to see that darks adds hydralisks... We'll see how it goes. | ||

The zergling runby destroyed a lot of probes, and this smart 2 pronged timing attack from the Cerebrate really payed off. Even with the first colossus out, he is still unable to repell the zerg squadrons that goes further and further in his natural. Finally, as the last colossus fall, Dark destroys Elite and takes the series 2-1. | ||

Arthur delays the implantation of further infestation on the orbital platform of daybreak by body blocking for a moment and then throwing down a pylon. Himself goes for the seen over and over again forge fast expand. In the background, MMA seems to practice <3. Back to the game now ! Unsurprisingly, Dark takes a fast third. I have a feeling that somehow he is gonna take it. The only interresting thing that happens is a zealot vs 4 zerglings at the xel naga tower, with good micro from both sides... However 2 zergling dies still, but the tower is back under the control of the Cerebrate. Arthur teleports a robotic to it's natural. He is begining to add gates, to have 3 gates robo at this time, upgrading +1. Dark morphs a roach warren, an additional hatchery in his main, and begins Zergling speed. Arthur now adds the twilight council, the Lair is morhping. Both ennemies are preparing for battle. First signs of battle approches as a warp prism filled with zealots and sentries unloads his garrison on the highground at the top of Dark's third. The protoss engines warps additional rounds of zealots... and a strong attack comes to the third which is getting low. However, the zerg swarm, sending the danger, defended well with roaches and hydralisk. Even if the hatchery is low, it did not fall. The cerebrates morphs a spire, feeling the need for air control. Arthur, without being able to do much with his harassement tactics, prepares to take a third. The tale could tell the game is even at this point, but the supply could not. 110 to 178 supply, for the swarm. No forth still for Dark still. He is massing corrupters at this point.. | ||
